+ close shortcut and yeah that's all you need.
I didn't check that one as it says it can cause issues with uplay games. That being said I'm super dumb as I just created 3 GP instances, not Uplay ones.

That being said this is scaring me

Call me dumb, I can totally be dumb as a brick at times, but the less I touch steam binding the better. I just want the default game mapping, nothing more.
And I don't even know where to check this 'Use the Big Picture etc.' thing.

You don't have to touch the bindings, it defaults to classic Xbox ones. Don't worry about enabling big picture or running as admin.

And don't worry, it's not dumb. If you run into any issues, I'll be around.

I think some games (not many) have DS4 support built in. Some folks use DS4Windows (there are new builds of this on github). I use GloSC (Global Steam Controller). Here's a fork that works better with UWP titles. It lets you add Gamepass titles to Steam like a regular non-Steam Game. Just add the name, click the UWP button to pick the game, and then check "close shortcut".

I've tried this program once to hook up PSO2 on Steam, but I can't find the game from the list. It's all gibberish and everything has long name/filepath. The program's window being unresizeable only made my experience worse.

Will get Concrete Genie and perhaps Medievil today on PSN, both on sale.

With the exception of my TLOU 2 pre-order, last time I bought a game for my PS4 was in october last year which was Squishies, but that was a mistake purchase as it released on PCVR too. Before that it was Ghost Giant for PSVR in august which was an amazing game still not out on PCVR.

Ok, one last question, because I am so full of questions today people !

Is it the new trendy controller ? Is it good ? It's far cheaper than official ones that's for sure.

The fork I linked might help with that if you're using the default one. I haven't tried PSO2, so I won't be of much help.

If you just want your DS4 to be seen as an Xbox Controller, you can create a generic Steam entry with GloSC. Don't have it launch a game, and don't have it close when the shortcut is closed. Just launch it, then launch your game, It should make your DS4 look like a 360 controller.

I have one but only ever use it for old games as its paired on my MiSTer FPGA. I do like it a lot though, it feels good etc. For the PC I just use my XBox err....one? controller. I don't have the console.

Edit: I think the SN30 Pro+ is well received because it's got a good build quality and how it works well in different modes for pairing with different devices.

I got one recently and I use it for all games that don't have camera controls / don't benefit from the back buttons on the Steam controller. It's very nice.

One thing I miss from the Steam controller is the battery life. But it's really pretty far ahead of everything in that aspect.

Grounded demo and Hardspace Shipbreaker dropping on the same day:sweaty-blob:
Outer Wilds for me on thursday too and I bought Griftlands 2 days ago.

Too much stuff. I can literally survive on games releases on Steam alone for the rest of my life easily. I do currently also have Switch, Xbone and PS4, but I barely use them and when I do it's only for exclusives.

Next-gen will be PC + Nintendo + Sony for me unless Sony going in on PC too.

Yeah, there are so many interesting games lately. Like, I haven't played any Desperado games or Shadow Tactics so I can get away from the release of Desperado 3 tomorrow, but I will definitely pick it up later. Very interested in Griftlands, too. But I still play Slay the Spire on and off. It may feel weird playing another deck-building game at this moment.

Console-wise, I am playing Tokyo Mirage Session and Dead Cells on Switch, but have been putting both down for a while in favor of Gears 5 (playing with my brother) and Supraland at the moment. PC + Nintendo should tide me over the future. The only game that will make me purchase a PS5 would be a sequel of Sakura Wars (not Sony exclusives as I expect the latter will come to PC around end of the generation).

Overall, I feel that gaming has never been better. So many games in the horizon (pun intented) on all platforms and this feeling is just, fantastic.

Seems like Squeenix has been working on an update for FF4. I guess it'll be something like the FF3 update, but, I wonder what they're gonna break this time. xd

Though, I wish they would update FF5 and FF6 with an update similar to Chrono Trigger...

Trying out the character creator of Code Vein. The amount of clothing option is waaaaaaay more impressive than that of the faces. Besides, if I get the game, I will probably install body customization mod as there is no way to change height or bust size.

I have this version, and I shill it all the time. I mostly use it for Switch, but I've used it a LOT and it's held up beautifully. I'll definitely get another when this one finally breaks, but it's showing no signs:

Is height even an option in that many Japanese games that have a CC option? Outside of things like MMOs were you can pick a race of small creatures, everyone is basically the same size?

I remember Xenoblade X has height option (and bust size option in Japanese release). But its art direction is bad so...

While it's an exception and not the norm, PSO2's character creator is pretty crazy.
Face morphing, body morphing, height slider ranging from slightly below 140cm up to nearly 210cm in the JP version (minimum height was increased to 150cm in the NA version though), and fine tuning for smaller details such as eyes, nose, mouth, ears, overall head size, neck, arms, legs, chest, waist.

Then there's the accessories. 4 accessories slots that can be costumized in size, angle and position. When combined with certain special outfits (like mini Rappy suit, Rappy being a bird mascot enemy), it can result in monstrosities such as a giant multi-horse head...

There's also a mech race.

In sad news, obviously Ostranauts got delayed but tomorrow it's getting a Demo available for everyone to download and try

This doesn't surprise me at all. Blue Bottle Games is just one guy (Daniel Fedor) who occasionally contracts out talent when needed.

Given the depth of his last game NEO Scavenger coupled with his ambitions for Ostranauts, every delay just tells me that he wants the game to be super complex straight out of the gate.

Take your time, I say. Still my most anticipated release of the year.

Releases today.
Some of the footage I've seen of this looks quite nice.

Got a close eye on it as I love farm-life sims and the friendly, inviting tone of this one couldn't have come at a better time.

Not my kind of game, but here

That's easily the most expensive 60$/€ game in my region, had to double check if it's not a 70$/€ game. Pretty weird considering their prices here are either pretty good or just 'not the worst'.

If you own Witcher 3 on GOG already it seems that you get a giftable copy.

Does anyone own it on GOG that would like to gift the game?
