How is Everspace 1 ? Worth a play ? Is there a story or is it full sandbox ?
And Pirate Warriors ? Which one are good ? Which one are canon / original story ? (I'm at chapter 100+, pretty sure I won't ever finish reading OP but original story would be cool, I suppose).

It's such a nice, slow paced experience, and really damned beautiful. Love the music too, though it's used fairly subtly (and effectively when it actually kicks in)

The only bad thing about this game is the abysmal performance. My machine should be running this game at over 100 FPS all the time, Instead it barely scratches 30 FPS in some areas, and that's even with literally every option turned to low. Sure, Unity is bad, but I don't remember if I have ever seen a game that seems so constant in its bad performance. I have no idea what the devs are doing, I imagine it's some nightmare where they are not using any sort of Level of Detail and constantly "rendering" thousands of pointless objects.

The architecture in Eastshade reminded me so much of Morrowind. It really is a lovely game. I would definitely recommend it to folks who enjoy walking simulators with some extra stuff (like RPG mechanics and puzzle solving). Unfortunate to hear that they never got around to fixing the performance issues. I played the game near launch and the performance was quite terrible. No excuse for it to be that way a year and a half later.

Thanks for the links. I have been doing some trading, but not in large scale. Mostly to split the cost with others so I don't have to pay for the full bundle when I only want one or two games. Looks like I will be buy more than sell from now on

Unfortunately this is just another case of "how a few exploit a system and let the majority pay for it". I've been reading a bit through comments on the second link given and while I didn't find all the information I wish I could have, I became to the conclusion that there were several factors involved in that decision such as "people with 20 HB accounts" . "dumping keys and probably freebies from HB on marketplaces" as fair examples.

I think the pattern is clear. We can't have nice things and let them last long enough because there will be always somebody who wont let it happen.

And as I said I can't grasp the whole complex scenario behind all of this.

Everspace has the best combat in a space game, I really enjoyed my time with it. Graphics and story are great as well, so this game is very recommendable.

Only thing I didn't like was the final battle in the last sector. Being destroyed almost immediately by a bunch of enemies appearing out of thin air after more than 2 hours of good play made me give up on this game.

If you want more anime, I would say is quite anime-ish. Currently playing it myself. But I cannot recommend it as one of the better FF games. The game is too linear even for a jRPG

I played the demo and was utterly disappointed by it. I think if the game hadn't used the FF brand it wouldn't have had such well reception in general. I think DQ XI is probably the last traditional JRPG of SE as of today.
