Community Backlog Blitz Season 25 - Runs October 1 through December 31 with a game prize raffle at the end

I changed a few games I was planning to play like maybe a week ago but forgot to update my list.
Even though I'm fairly deep in Othercide, it's a bit of slower burn and kind of difficult (in the original difficulty) and thus feels like a game I'm going to finish sometime January at the earliest.
So I swapped it and Haiku out, and swapped in Vane and Night Call.

These two games also happen to start with letters that I have missing from my A-Z challenge list.

Finished Jack Move.
It's a quite nice and compact turn based RPG with a cyberpunk theme. Absolutely gorgeous, nice music.
The writing can be a bit over the top sometimes.

Finished Night Call just now. It has a good idea but execution doesn't always quite work. You are taxi driver listening to stories of people and also trying to investigate a serial killers on the side, but your client tend to reset for each "mission", so you end up with repeated encounters way too much. There's also a freeroam mode where you could probably beeline some of the customer stories more easily if you wanted to, but I don't think the writing isn't compelling enough for it all. The presentation is minimalistic and that works quite well and the soundtrack is alright.

Also started and finished Vane the other day. Liked it, it's quite alright. It's a bit of a Journey like, I guess.

Final day! Make sure you update the spreadsheet and celebrate New Years Eve and the New Year by completing all the unfinished games!

I'll update the spreadsheet with the new tab right now so anyone that wants to can get a headstart in selecting their games. The new thread will get made tomorrow along with the raffle winner.

Finished Sanctum 2 but I'm still missing 2 chapters from Lost in Random. I'm afraid I'm not going to make it :negative-blob:
 
The Blitz has come to a close and the raffle has been pulled. The winner this time is Wibble. That's me! Always feels a little weird when I get selected but I guess with how many times we've been doing the Blitz I'm bound to win occasionally! I won for completing Last Command, which is a neat bullet hell + Snake mash-up that everyone should check out if that sounds a bit intriguing.

If you didn't complete all your games there's always next time because the next Blitz starts today. The new tab has already been created and I'll work on the new thread now. Good luck to all those participating!
