I really want to play something, but I don't know what. Nothing new for a PC gamer, but at the same time I have the strangest desire to play some emulated goodness. Was something lost that I need ? I mean I'm far more interested in Seiken 3 than in its remake.

I get that Kickstarter is full of caveats that you may never get anything if you back and the thing may vary, but the Shenmue III thing seems straight up to violate even U.S. false advertising laws. They campaigned on it being on one platform, it got funded on that platform, they have repeatedly stated (even after an Epic deal was reached, it appears) that it would be on that platform, and now they are pulling that platform but providing the same thing (that was funded) on a different platform than advertised.
Considering the pretty broad reach of U.S. false advertising laws I'd say there's a legitimate class action complaint to be made there, and I believe EU laws are even more protective of consumers. If I had backed the game I'd be investigating these avenues for sure since they are refusing refunds.

Debatable. I don't have a horse in that race and just follow the drama from the sidelines, but you could argue the loss of goodwill to be tremendous.

Okay... we were having this discussion earlier but this and PES2020 settles it. At least for Japanese publishers, they are clearly just using some dices or throwing darts at a wall with numbers when it comes to regional prices.
In relation to the US price, in Argentina RAD is -80% and PES is +58%.
For Brazil is that +95% for Brazil in RAD, and -48% for PES.
So it's either random numbers or there is some super ultra complex strategy here that I'm incapable of deciphering
