I have nothing positive to say, insomnia and loneliness, and my buddy depression wouldn’t allow it, but I wanted to be on the first page. For science.
I guess I could add that I really should play some CRPG like Bloodlines, Original Sin, Underrail etc. But that would get in the way of a replay of FF14.

And it’s not even an issue, because Grim Dawn is so huge I will have kids before I see the credits.

...still, yeah, some CRPG... tempting...

I'm so sorry, Li Kao. That trio is horrible and has plagued me for far too long too. Hopefully someday we can find better buddies.

Hang in there and we're always here if you ever need to talk :cat-heart-blob:
Only two months before September folks :steam_gp_corgi:
Really looking forward to what existential crisis my birthday will give me this year!
This was pretty much going to be my post too. The gift that never fails to arrive early and stick around way too long.

Guess that's what being a libra is all about, balance. And any day now the scales will tip back in my favor! Yep.. any day now..

Devolver liked this tweet, I wonder if they're referencing the 4th of july joke going around?

Actually I think you might be on to something here!

No wait, now I'm just picturing a Karate Kid style montage and I don't have time for that. Besides where would someone find a trainer that will work for free these days?

If Metal Wolf Chaos surprise releases on 4th of July it would be a bit too meme-y for me, I suspect they won't. But also they are crazy, so who knows.
Still its a hilarious idea. From all accounts that game is hilariously bad, so I'm excited to play it. I have no idea if the port is any good, but the original is just terribly acted so I'm sure it will be

Seems like Valve's incentive to get people to review games for Grand Prix points is really paying off. Tons of games are being slammed with hundreds to thousands of positive reviews because of this.

MHW finally climbed out of its mixed status to Mostly Positive because of it, With its recent reviews sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive. Bloodstained alone went from like 100-200 reviews a day to 1300+. But I guess the devs dont mind lol

If you look through the top sellers' recent review status, most of them have Overwhelmingly Positive ratings right now.

So Valve are now arbitrarily picking winners and losers yet again by boosting the amount of reviews of already popular game and further burying tiny indies with small player bases? Way to go Valve, seems like you simply can't help yourselves when it comes to ruining talented indies. Am I doing this right Tim senpai?

Well to be fair im seeing even niche games get an uptick of positive reviews. Seems that a lot of people are taking this incentive as an excuse to review their favorite games, not just random or recent ones.

Hypnospace Outlaw is 3 reviews away from hitting 500 and getting that sweet sweet Overwhelmingly Positive rating.

Too bad I bought the game through humble so mine doesnt count V_V

I actually did it the other way around! I simply reviewed one of my recently played games since I thought that a game that I really enjoyed deserved more than a 20 second review, which was how long I was willing to spare at the time

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the game I'm most interested in this month because A: I like the Wolfenstein series, and B: I really like Arkane's work. Arkane deserve a hit after multiple excellent games that underperformed. I'm very glad that Bethesda walked back their original plans to move exclusively to the Bethesda launcher. I am a little wary of how Youngblood will work as a singleplayer experience so I'm definitely gonna wait for some in-depth reviews before buying. But I'm hoping for the best.

Also, if you're a fan of Star Wars and you've never played Jedi Outcast, that is definitely something you should rectify.

Sonic Fox is a bro

Konami Arcade Classic feels tougher than the OGs, especially Gradius/Nemesis. They could have done so much better on this “collection.”
Eh the collection's emulation is ok but this aint dark souls kiddo, you need focus and memorisation to master these games.
Otherwise just play with inf. Continues for fun like i do!

Downunder.
Any of y'all who are on reddit need to be on this and ask about releasing stuff on steam and gog, etc.
I'm not on reddit but we should ask about Nayuta remaster, Ys V, Dinosaur Resurrection when etc.

Hearing about Cyber Sleuth getting delisted, makes me even happier I imported the SEA English release for Vita.

Metal Wolf Chaos XD is the only interesting news this month, i wonder if they fix the graphics? Gameplay trailers looks artistically very different from xbox version (also missing dof effect..)

This isn't my picture, I found it on Era.

But I can't be happy at this news at all! My soul is screaming "NOOOOOOOOOO~"

Because it's probably gonna break all the community mods and engine tweaks that the FF modding community has done already to make the PC version great. Personally I am using:

And I would die if it gets broken as a result of patching. Square... pls no. 🙏
Square Enix going back to patch their old games, what madness
