I sat till 2AM editing this Rage 2 review, but I love the results, probably my best video so far (though I haven't done many videos so far so it's an easy achievement lol):

As you can see it's a good game, but it's just not worth the full price, so I recommend to get it on the next big sale. It's also playable with HUD disabled, especially with those new updates that include loot highlighting, not perfect but playable and you can see it in the video.
Just finished watching it, and yes, it's a good video plus the gameplay makes it really entertaining, you have been improving a lot, Inquisitor, keep the good work :cat-heart-blob:

So what releases are you looking at picking up for the rest of the year?
Uhm, let's see, I usually wait for Tizoc's monthly list of upcoming games to despair for my wallet's health decide what to buy on any given month, but the games that immediately come to mind are:

Greedfall (can't wait! :awwblob:)
Planet Zoo
Warsaw

I'll certainly buy more, even if I really shouldn't :weary-face:

Looks like Dragon Quest I-III are coming to Switch in Japan then in Asia. There should be English support, at least on the Asia version, and this bodes well for a western release.

That's the same pack that released for PS4 in Japan.
Let's hope for a western release, and why not, let's hope a PC release of those classics, I would buy it for sure.

Is there some known issue with embedding tweets here? Every one of them for me shows up as unavailable like this:

but I can clink on the hyperlink left behind to view them fine in a new tab. All other embedded media links display fine.

I have same issue (Firefox). After disabling Content Blocking feature from this site it works.

A friend told me it's based on the mobile version, which was somewhat inferior? I mean, I can almost tell that it will have that obnoxious bilinear filtering and squashed pixels again.

Hmm, memory is hazy, but wasn't it an issue "only" with the first one ?

Byyyy the way friends, I didn't buy this month Humble.
So rest assured, it will be lit.

Iirc there are scaling problem with the other entries as well. Someone reported it in the GAF OT way back then.
Mmh, found the discussion I remembered. According to someone on the internet, and you can admit how definitive an opinion that is (it's someone on the internet after all), 1 and 2 are concerned, not 3.

I just wish they would release a PC port of Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.

I always found the game unusually charming for a Final Fantasy game. :)

Oh man is Ori coming also this month?!

Lot of good games for Switch as well, too bad those are way expensive than on PC, so not for me. Nintendo should do something to their pricing level.

Hold the fuck up. They ported DMC2 only and not the rest of the trilogy?
They released DMC1 HD already. They're releasing the DMC games solo as opposed to a compilation release like on other platforms.
Capcom trying to eat on Switch users' gullibility :V
I might end pre-ordering Devil's Hunt since it is 32% off.

Hmm, decisions.
On Humble you mean? I've yet to see a satisfying gameplay video.
Maybe Queenie could provide some previews that might make the game worth picking up, because so far it seems like...well a poor man's Devil May Cry knock off :X

This game annoys me. First I watched a gameplay video and it was boring as fuck with no enemy reactions when they are hit, but it also still reminds me of another AA game that horribly bombed in reviews a few years back, where you also played a devil agent or something.
Could someone help me remember the title ?

GamersGate.

I'm interested on it since I saw it last year but I'm still thinking if I should get it day one because even on the last gameplay the animations and enemy reactions wouldn't fly even if it was released back in 2016. It's something that remembers me from early Spiders games. But the overall story seems entertaining to some level.

Bound by Flame?

Devil's Hunt is like an AA studio's take on God of War 2018. Am I the only one who think this?
Can't quite disagree with this either.

Devils hunt is basically a mix of devil may cry dark souls and fist of the north star games, there's no weapons per say you have 3 forms that use a range of nelee fists etc. Bosses are inspiration from dark souls where it isn't a mob with a dumb long health bar. Campaign
length is roughly 10 hours

U use different body parts for combat styles think prototype

I agree with this sentiment. I bought day 1 as I wanted on Steam and I enjoyed it and dont regret the purchase but yea its far from perfect. I generally like to play games that have "fun gameplay" at least for me and thats what really shines with Rage 2. The story is garbage, the campaign is very short and it gets repetitive but its a joy to play so I recommend. I havent gone back since i 100% it a week after release so I have to check out the new features you mentioned.

It's Humble Monthly Day in about 10 hours!
Ready to be disappointed or excited?
The reveals are generally extremely disappointing especially since the IGN buyout but sometimes there is a hidden gem that was on your wishlist. Adventure Pals and Super Daryl Deluxe stand out for me recently. The bundles have gotten steadily worse but I make my money back every time selling the keys I dont want so I cant complain.

If you already finished it, I'm not recommending to jump right back now, wait for all DLCs and updates and only then considering going back, they'll probably continue to improve it and add more stuff.

I don't have the time atm to contribute to that there, the OP is impressive in size and scope! Plus it would be Rocket League, Fallout New Vegas, Left 4 Dead, Trackmania and then Binding of Issac 50 times, in a row. :weary-face:, I'm pathetic.

No joke, The Binding of Issac absolutely deserves to be in the Video gaming Hall of Fame, above almost any other game I can think of. No joke, one of gaming's greatest achievements.

Wuppo just received a "Definitive Edition" update.
The game now includes all DLCs, and previous owners now own all previously released DLCs.

The game is well worth a look:

Glad they're doing this. I looked at getting the DLC a few times but even on sale it would've cost me more than what I got the game itself for in the first place!
