I didn't know Steam had a top of wishlisted games:
Steam Search
I filtered the results with RPG tag and I see I already have most of them wishlisted. Now I wonder if my tastes are as plebian as they come.

Kidding aside, it warms my heart that The Outer Worlds and Yakuza Kiwami is near the top. Seems like its highly anticipated since the trainwreck that is F76 for the former, and the success of Y0 for the latter.

Curious to see this amount of people who didn't know about this :O
This thing exists since July or August, after 2 blogposts, looks like this has been discovered today for some reason and this makes me think that a lot of people doesn't explode Steam by clicking everywhere (this is not a critic for you, just that I'm surprised hehe)
I usually explore Steam and I did not know about that feature. One thing that I noticed, and may or may not be related at all, is many who critics Steam don't know the features or how some of them work.

It could be interesting to read about "Steams lesser know features" or something like that.

I looked into Book of Demons yesterday, and it indeed looks like something I'd like to play, but I won't be playing it now, so maybe in years to come, if I won't forget that is.

The second bundle doesn't look good at all
Much like the first one, the starting game is the only one that's really appealing. Overload is a really good game that hasn't really dropped much in price. The rest aren't really eye catching, honestly. I think it's weird that they're trying to charge the same as the Humble Monthly with not even half of the value.

I meant #2, not #3
But the early unlock for #3 doesn't look fun
I really like Tower of Time, it's a old school isometric RPG with a strange MOBA/tower defence/standard rtwp battle system. It's a steal at that price alone.

Not going to lie, as I have seen this so many times I have been thinking on doing something like "Steam 101" or similar, written or video, but I don't have that much time to make all the content I would like, Anyway, this is the proof that something is wrong with Steam updates and tools, if so many people have problems to discover which new tools have appeared on the service then the feedback between Valve as a company and you as a customer doesn't work that well or at all.

I really want to change that by making something, the problem is and will always be the time.

The Steam page listing "popular wishlisted games" is pretty hard to find to be honest.

You need to scroll down on the main store page, click here:

Then here:

Then scroll down and click here:

To add to the confusion, it is unclear which criteria are used to build this list. It has to be something like games which were wishlisted by many people in the past month, or some other time window.

I also notice that the "On your wishlist" section is completely wrong: none of these games are on my wishlist. There are even 3 games tagged with "Simulation", which is one of my ignored tags.

Nothing beats Steam250 for discovering recent Steam releases for me: Top 100 best Steam Games this quarter – Steam 250
As for the wishlists, I don't think that data is available through SteamSpy/Steam API.

If any of you missed the announcement, here is the blogspost published by Valve in July, 11. This is why I find surprising and funny that a lot of you missed it, because this was published almost on every community with Steam related content.
Improvements to the "Upcoming" tab on Steam

Wok's post here
This is correct, I think it could be easier to find.

Can I use 2 20% uplay discount codes together? Or is the uplay store pre-designed to only allow you to have one at a time?

ATOM RPG is leaving early access this month.
I backed the game on Kickstarter, and the earlier versions I played were very enjoyable (and reception on Steam has been equally positive), so fans of the classic Fallout games may want to give this one a look.

I picked this up last night after it popped up in the news section on my phone. Put about an hour in, and I'm loving it. A lot of NPC interaction out of the gate in the first little town they walk you into, and the UI works well. Unless I misread, it sounds like the EA saves won't carry over to the 1.0 release Wednesday, so I'll probably hold off playing any more until then. I'm off all next week though, so I expect to be knee deep in it over the holidays.

I remember this blog post, but I did not know about the "popular wishlisted games". It is not mentioned in the text, and only appears on the illustration of the blog post.

I did not pay attention to anything else mentioned on the personalized "Upcoming" page, so, for me, the blog post was about this tab: Upcoming Releases

and this list of "popular upcoming games": Steam Search

It is not a new thing, you are right about that.

However, it was not explicitly mentioned in the text of the blog post. It appears on the "Upcoming" page and on the illustration of the blog post, but it is not super catchy.

I see, it was confusing because I remember that I have been using this from time to time since it went up in July,

RIP, A Fish Aficionado.

I never interacted with him directly, but I've seen him post over the years and I thought his posts were interesting. I always thought of him as JaseC's counterpart since they both have that Irish actress whom I cannot remember the name as their avatar.

A great loss, indeed.

As it has been previously mentioned, Kung Fu Panda Showdown of Legendary Legends will be gone from Steam on January 1st.
A few days ago, the bundle of the game + DLC was discounted, with a note that the game would be further discounted for the Steam Winter Sale.
It seems the Sale price is now in effect, so if you have any interest in getting the game before it's removed from Steam, this is probably the best price you'll get.

Game + DLCs:
Save 63% on Kung Fu Panda Final Showdown on Steam

Game only::

If you buy either option, don't forget to add this free DLC:

A bit of a heads-up for those of you who likes simulation/city builders. Anno 1602 is currently free to keep forever in the Ubi store.

Anno 1602

Make sure you're clicking on the "Get it for free..." button instead of "Add to cart" button.

Before y'all raise your objections and pitchforks, yes, yes I know. Ubi launcher is the devil spawn, etc. It's somewhat better than the Epic launcher, though. Sometimes you gotta roll in with the bad to get with the goods.

This is kind of an aside to the above post, but how the hell does Ubi's website work so poorly. It's the only major publisher website that doesn't seem to log me in right when I log in. I have to keep messing around until it finally acknowledges my login...

Ticket to Ride just dropped its 3rd of 4 episodes. It's a bit grindy and repetitive and has a pretty unique battle system. You move your character over matching coloured squares corresponding to the ability you want to use, more squares, more power and then unleash it on baddies. The art is great.
