Just finished Blighttown on DkS:R and being honest it didn't felt like pain in the ass like the first time I played through it years ago.

And I also got that stupid pose while resting on the bonfire:

That bonfire in particular is pretty bad with trying to figure out where the legs go.
From my own collection.

edit: Also I guess that's one thing they didn't fix in the remaster since my shot is from the original, from late 2013. :D

Watched a little bit of that Valorant gameplay and looks kinda boring. Like a mashup of CSGO and Overwatch on CS style maps. Like a jack of all trades situation.

The shooting looks okayish and some of the abilities/AOE look like they really don't belong in the game. Also ADS seem to be all over the place. I don't know if I watched enough but it seemed like some of the guns have ADS and the others don't.

So yea its very mediocre first impression. Its gonna need a lot of work and support.

Want to buy Bannerlord but also considering backing two games on Kickstarter. Unsure if I can pay for both. Can't follow my heart nor mind on this because they say both.

Its look like someone inflated a ps4 controller, and the white is a no no, that thing gonna get stained pretty quickly.

they had a good design with the ps4 controller, they just needed to tight it a bit.

I don't know why my first thought regarding the PS5 controller is a banana.

Only good looking thing about it is the Vita-looking godlike D-PAD is back.

I beat Sen's Fortress, playing calmly and not rushing the enemies made that place a lot more manageable than the first time I played through it.

Lol I had no idea it also happened in the original version.

I just started playing In Other Waters and so far it has been a relaxing experience, it also made me realize that I want a game inspired by the book Solaris from Stanislaw Lem.

What's the connection between the two imagines?

Also I think I am going to buy it.

The next control that I think I'm going to buy is the phantom white Xbox One Controller, I am also going to buy a Windows 10 adapter. Is there a "white" power pack for the Xbox One?

Never been a fan of PS symmetrical stick placement.

Too close together for my ergonomic tastes.
I am right there with ya, buddy. I've owned a PS1, PS2, and PS3 and never truly liked the controllers, merely tolerated them, particularly the analog stick placement (and the smooth analog sticks of old). I've only used a PS4 one a couple of brief moments, so I can't really comment on that.

The PS5 controller looks really sporty to me. Like it should be a FIFA pack in or something.

I think it would look futuristic if the console had a white shell style.

Other than that, I don't expect it to be my fav gamepad, but PS4 gamepad is plenty serviceable.

Still hoping 3 won't be EGS exclusive, but given how coy they've been I'm not holding my breath.

Edit : if you've never played Homeworld, this video is very spoilery. Fair warning.

Those symmetrical sticks on a bigger controller (compared to old Sony gamepads) look like a terrible idea for everyone's hands.

Oof.. why do they insist on still using those awful analog sticks.
At least they eventually got that problem with the disintegrating rubber under control, still don't like them because my finger can't get a good grip. Plus yet again those tiny, uncomfortable L2/R2 triggers, a touchpad no game ever uses (same goes for the speaker), annoying light-strips.... , seems like they kept all the bad stuff and improved.... hm, the bumpers are bigger, that's nice. And the haptics stuff (not really new though, the X1 pad's triggers already have something like that), and maybe they won't f'up the battery life this time?

I think it looks kind of neat, aesthetically. But I'm not at all convinced by the shape in terms of ergonomics. Then again, the most ergonomic controller for how I tend to hold them is the Steam controller by far, so if they made a default console controller in the shape I prefer to hold people would riot :p

Did they ? My near launch PS4 controller had the rubber rubbing off about 3months in, and after 2 years or so the rubber was almost completely gone on both sticks. And that's with slight use. That thing was trash, never had something like that happen with any controller before.

We'll never go back to DS3, so another gen of using Xbox controllers I guess. Curious if I'll need a new dongle for XSX controllers or what.

It took a few years and revisions, not sure what year/what series exactly but yes, if you buy a DS4 now you'll get more durable sticks, bumpers that won't get stuck (my biggest problem) and a somewhat improved battery life (still bad).

DS3 had the worst sticks and triggers of them all though, a true abomination. :blobxorcism: And no, X1X pad is backwards-compatible with the X1nonX and thus the old dongle. Maybe it'll need a new one for the new low-latency mode.

Anybody worried about that controller should just spend a couple weeks playing some N64 games with this thing. PS5 will feel like such a warm relief afterward that you'll love it forever.
