Something that moderate concerns me about AoE4 is that as the series' graphical fidelity has increased, the playfield has become less readable due to a much higher noise ratio. It's even apparent playing AoE2 HD, where seeing what is going on is more difficult because there's just so more information onscreen but none of it is actually relevant to questions like "Where? How many? How long?" etc.

Personally I'm a bit concerned since if I look at their RTS releases from 2004 to now I like them progressively less.

Still, AoE4 certainly looks great in the trailer.

yep , after CoH2 and the abomination that was DoW3 , i am quite worried about Relic doing this , lets hope its gonna be return to form for them

Also a little disappointed to see medieval again, especially since I'm cracking out to AoE2DE right now, and will likely put a couple hundred hours into it before this comes out.
