News Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to end service - paid offline version in development

Service ends for the mobile Animal Crossing game Pocket Camp on November 28. A paid offline version is in development to replace it.
It will also include save data transfer, but some online features will no longer be functional in the offline version.

I'm kinda surprised Nintendo never tried to do an Nintendogs + Cats mobile game.

I don't understand how you can make Animal Crossing on mobile and close down. Nintendo has not done particularly well in the mobile space (and their only successful game is Fire Emblem, a typical waifu gacha with loli marriage because of course).

I guess Hoyoverse is doing a game that will take that market on mobile and PC...
