Astroneer now has a release date, February 6th, 2019!

The 1.0 update will debut a new exploration-focused adventure that will take you to seven brand new planets while facing challenges like dangerous flora, treacherous terrain and immense, mysterious structures.

Although we originally were slated to release in December, we made the tough decision to add six weeks to production to make sure we had adequate time to fix bugs and make sure performance met our standards! We can't wait to get the full game into your hands, but also want to ensure that experience is an amazing one that feels like a polished game.

Had Astroneer on my Steam wishlist since it launched in EA. Judging from the footage and user reviews, the developers have massively improved the game.

May pick this up just before it officially launches!
yeah, they really did :) i bought it when they first released it into early access ... and it's sooooo much better now :)

I had it on my wishlist for a while.
Since the game is currently on sale, will increase in price on Monday, and will launch soon-ish (and has an exclusive skin for early access buyers), I finally purchased it. :giggle:

Canada... eh?
Astroneer's great.
I've spent ~20hrs in EA playing it...which is actually significant time investment from me.

(maybe I should submit a bug report about the way the game handles windowed mode before it launches though lol)

Looking forward to hopping back in once the full release is out. I played it a bit during early access quite a few months back and it was enjoyable but had some rather serious netcode issues with caused quite a bit of progress to be lost. Guessing that is something has been resolved by now and having more planets to explore will give the game a bit more legs as there wasn't too much to do after the first 2-3 hours in the build I played.

Bought this pretty early on and had some fun with it before moving on to something else. Guess it's time to jump back in and see what it's like now.

Is this good? I have it on Game Pass for both PC and Xbox and I was wondering if it was worth a go? Kinda crazy that I'm asking if a game I've got as part of a sub is good, cuz I can just play it and try, but there's so many great things on GP that my time is stretched.
