Cool.

I'm wondering how it plays. Will it be a "plain" football game with super moves? A mix of football with RPG elements?
Either way, I'm looking forward to it. :)

That is the gacha game btw
Might give it a try for a while since it plays similar to the original nes games.

Is it an RPG like Inazuma Eleven or just football like Inazuma Eleven Strikers? If it's just football I'd prefer something like Virtua Striker over this fifa/pes angle.

sounds fun

In Episode “New Hero,” you will have the option to create your very own character and join one of three prestigious middle schools known for their talented teams with key strengths:
  • Furano Middle School of Hokkaido – Known to have the best teamwork in Japan.
  • Toho Academy in Tokyo – A top-class academy in Japan.
  • Musashi Middle School – Led by the talented Jun Misugi.
Once you’ve created an avatar in your likeness and picked a club, your aim will be to defeat Tsubasa Ozora’s team, Nankatsu Middle School, and compete to join the New Hero League!
The New Hero League
After the national tournament, players were about to leave their school team when they heard about an unexpected tournament—the New Hero League: this competition was going to be held to select the best players for Japan’s All Star Team, as the International Junior Youth Tournament was cancelled.
Get ready to experience dramatic stories and different outcomes depending on the school you choose, and build friendships with your favorite players to increase your “friend rank!”
By bonding with a specific character above a certain level, you may even acquire the character’s unique skill and special move.
Forging close friendships with your team members will help stack the odds in your favor to defeat your rivals!

Sorry for bumping this thread, but Tizoc, you mentioned it was a "gacha" game, so I pretty much stop following the game (I'm not particularly interested in free-to-play, microtransaction heavy games).

I received an email a few minutes ago, where Bandai Namco was advertising pre-orders being available for the console versions of the game, which made me confused, since I thought this was a FTP game, not a "retail" game.

Will this game be a "proper" retail product (as in, you buy it, and it's yours, you have all the content, and some DLCs or season passes may be released), or will it be a free-to-play "gacha" game (and in that case, are they doing that to the PC version, and having a proper retail version on consoles? that would be weird).

thank you :)

Dream Team is the gacha one, Rise of new champions is proper premium product
Thanks!

I was excited about the idea of a Tsubasa game on Steam (this and Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac are probably the only "shounen" anime series I used to watch on TV, and on top of that I rather enjoyed the Saint Seiya game available on Steam), especially since I like arcade football games, but once I kept hearing from people that the PC game would be a "gacha" title, I completely dropped it from my radar.

I'm glad to hear it's a proper "retail" game.

And, it looks awesome (I was just checking some videos)!

Has a release date been announced?
