Hey stalkers! It's time to share something special and important, both for you and for us. Having all the feedback we got from you after our teasers and making-ofs, we figured out that everybody wants the same: to explore the destroyed Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and Pripyat ghost city as deeply as it's possible. Then we decided to expand these locations in the game comparing to the original concept and ask you for help in doing that. It's hard and dangerous task, assuming that we need to make some extra trips to the Exclusion Zone and scan more buildings and objects. Within the next few weeks, we'll be starting the Kickstarter campaign. It'll let you pre-order the game and buy many cool gifts, including our highly demanded Black Stalker mask, and will let us collect some extra funds to do the Chernobylite location expansions plus add some extra features that we were always dreaming of.
so early access inautumn i guessHey stalkers!
Thanks to the Kickstarter campaign supported by so many of you, we spent the last few months working very hard to bring you into the Heart of Darkness - The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The beginning of our game takes place there - this is where it all started, and this is where it all ends. Even if there's still a few months ahead to the release of Early Access version of the game on Steam, we wanted to share a small part of the experience with you. Leave us your comments and help us polish the game to become an ultimate Chernobyl experience for all of us. And anyway, to visit Chernobyl without leaving your home, add Chernobylite to your wishlist on Steam and stay tuned for more news about autumn's release of our game.
Bear in mind that STALKER is very often classified as a survival horror series.I have this on my whistlist for a very long time, mainly because of the tags in the store page. I always thought that it's like a combination of STALKER and Fallout. I never knew that it's a survival horror. I guess off it goes from my whistlist.
Early Access will offer its players an endless survival experience with 8 hours of storytelling and free-of-charge access to the upcoming updates adding new episodes, locations, characters, and equipment to the game. The story in Chernobylite is non-linear, unpredictable and fully dependent on player’s decisions, which leads to many possible endings. That means even if you finish the story in EA, you can relive it again many times and in many different ways.
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We don't have a definite timeframe yet but we're estimating it'll be something between 10 and 14 months.”
[UWSL]We wanted to show you footage from Chernobyl captured by our drones. This video also includes in-game shots from Pripyat center - location that soon will be available for all players thanks to our incoming Megapatch called "Web of lies"![/UWSL]
A lot of players may ask "why do you need a weapon modification in Chernobylite?" The answer is simple: it's just a pure fun! There's a lot of options and there will be even more soon. So just look at this video and tell us: how do you like your weapons modified?
You've all waited for this! Black Stalker is here! We've just added A LOT of new content - armor, mines, traps, new features, new missions, new levels... But check it all out for yourselves!
