Here is a comparison between an early prototype build of Control (late 2017) and our E3 2018 build. Needless to say the E3 2018 build is now old news... ;)

For more information on Control and to stay up to date with the latest information, visit the official game website and be sure to follow Control on our social channels:

Control is scheduled to release in 2019 for PS4/PS4 Pro, Xbox One/Xbox One X, PC (digital only).

Always interesting to see the behind the scenes/early builds of games and I wish it is something developers would do more of but its easy to understand why they wouldn't want to show off the none shinny version of the game.

Looking forward to control as well but need to see a little more of it closer to release and the PC version. I'm hoping the exaggerated motion blur can be turned down a wee bit or turned off.. The gunplay looks a lot of fun though once it is polished up a bit.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

I'm really looking forward to this game, as I've enjoyed every Remedy game so far. And finally there's a female protagonist, yay!

Damn another downgrade, she now has to hold the gun.

Honestly though I love this stuff, I have bought games (like alan wake) just for having a commentary mode from developers, would love it if this game had that.

Two post-launch expansion packs—“The Foundation” and “Awe”—containing new locations, story content, side missions, and new mods are planned. These expansions are available for purchase as part of the PlayStation 4-exclusive Digital Deluxe Edition, or separately as an Expansion Pass with both expansions bundled together, or as individual items.

The Expansion Pass and individual expansions will be available first on PlayStation 4 and arrive on Xbox One and PC at a later date, after the PlayStation 4 version of the first expansion “The Foundation” has released in late 2019 / early 2020.

So, let's see if I get this right:
-PC version is Epic timed exclusive;
-First expansion is PS4 timed exclusive;
-Digital Deluxe Edition only available on the PS4.

Some publishers really like to make what should be something so simple, the act of purchasing a game, into something as complicated and upsetting as possible.
I don't know how people put up with crap like this, and keep supporting these practices.

Let's see, who's the publisher: oh look, it's 505 Games.
Pure scum. How I hate these guys.

This is the publisher that is publishing Bloodstained.
As soon as they came on board, they sent surveys asking backers about which type of micro-transactions they should release (and it had everything from bikinis and other sexy outfits, to weapons, and more), for a... single player Castlevania spiritual successor :(. Then, also on a survey (which was open to everyone, not only those who backed the game or pre-ordered it from the official website), they had a question asking if the content that was promised as exclusive to pre-orders and backers (for which many paid a decent extra amount, since this was only for higher tiers) should be made available to everyone for free. So, let's screw the people who dropped millions on the game already.

Up next: I'm awaiting the announcement that the game is Epic timed exclusive. Because knowing 505 Games, if Epic throws any € at them, it will be a done deal.

I'm bumping an old thread.... yes. (Its the only one I saw about Control )

However, I don't have any new or important news. In fact, my point will only be relevant to maybe one or two members, maybe none. Few people have as many screws lose as I do....

So, according to the summary in Wikipedia, Control (video game) - Wikipedia

Control revolves around a clandestine United States government agency known as the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC). The FBC's goal is to contain, study, and ultimately control objects and phenomena which defy scientific law. To that end, they seek out paranormal phenomena on a national scale, including "Altered Items", ordinary objects acted upon by otherworldly forces, and "Altered World Events," or AWEs. Certain Altered Items known as Objects of Power cause AWEs, and can be used in-game to gain new abilities. The FBC contains Altered Items within the Oldest House, a featureless Brutalist skyscraper in Manhattan that acts as the agency's headquarters.
Yes indeed folks, the SCP Foundation has its own AAA release. I was at a zero percent excitement level for playing this game, now I'm at about a 95% excitement (which is rent it for a night to play on my PS4 or wait until first price drop)
