Fallout Shelter and the "What Makes You Special" shorts were the best hype/PR stuff I have ever seen for a video game. We're talking FFVII original release levels of anticipation.
Then we got our hands on Fallout 4 and it was meh AF.
I noticed they kept working on Fallout Shelter as if it were more than just something to pass the time before FO4. It may not be a better game, but the mobile game timesink mechanics do give the brain dopamine for leveling up folks in ways that FO4 did not provide.
Then they did that online-only Fallout that sucked.
So Bethesda is back to money-making nonsense.
