Opinion For 2019, what is your yes, maybe, and no purchases (new or old)?

Just curious as I don't really read or follow news, even gaming.

Yes:

• Metro Exodus - I have already bought it for two reasons, I beat and enjoyed the first two. Secondly gold was cheaper then base game in my region for a bit.
• New Super Mario Bros Deluxe
• Animal Crossing

Maybe:

• Daemon X Machina (heavily into yes)
• Sekiro (most likely have access via family share)
• Anthem
• Cyberpunk (I don't have issues with swear words, but don't care for the unbelievable-ness of some of the scenes). -Probably won't be released anywhere near 2019

Definitely not buying:

• Nioh 2, first one I got extremely bored after NG+.

So what about y'all? It doesn't matter if it is unreleased or been out for a bit, well I mean there has to be a limit nothing from early 2000s I guess. I may add more to my list Also I know there are more switch games. Don't worry I have a lot to play already, especially on PC.

Well, that's a bit tricky because I don't really buy games close to their release date outside of review codes, so a 2019 game may be a 2020 or 2021 game for me. The only game that I'm really looking forward to playing in 2019 is Phoenix Point which I've already paid for via Fig.

In the Valley of Gods and Creak are two games I'm definitely buying on day 1. Everything else is a maybe but like Alexandros I mostly buy games a year or two after release when they're cheap enough so it'll mostly be 2018 releases for me.

I don't think Cyberpunk will make it in 2019 , so it's not in the list, otherwise it's a Yes.
I only play on PC so I have no opinion on console exclusives.

Really difficult to say, I try to buy as much as I can on Day 1 but it all depends of how packed is the month or what releases.
Right now some of the list would be.

Yes:

• tons of AAA
• tons of Indies
• the things we don't know yet

No:

• Crackdown 3
• Skull & Bones
• Anthem

And that's it, We will see how things come but one thing is for sure, it's a hella exciting year coming, so, hype!

... and you'll end up buying all those games anyway

but yeah - Trials Rising - SO MUCH HYPE for that game .... i just REALLY hope they'll do what they did for FC5 Arcade for it as well (as in: assets from previous ubi games to use in the level editor)

Anthem is probably the one game from that list that I'll cave on, maybe DMCV, assuming it's more DmC than old DMC.
Rest of the stuff... probably not. There's some indie stuff that i'll pick up, assuming I don't fill my Switch memory card before then.

we'll see to be honest, though - i probably want to play everything from your "no" list ... well, maybe not Anthem ... but everything else - absolutely

Since every game I'm excited for has a publisher attached to it that has messed up regional pricing on Steam, I'll go with Metro Exodus since Deep Silver is among the last few big publisher that doesn't do that shitty practice.
