Pretty good read, cites the adaptive controller, increasing investment, his promotion and its apparent effect, E3, GamePass, and even Xcloud as things that have lead to what might be the beginning of a shift in opinions about MS/Xbox Even in a year that statistically is still dominated by Sony/Playstation.

Will give it a read later. I like what they're doing with xbox especially with backwards compatibility, really looking forward to see what they do with the next xbox.

Deserved imo. I really like that Xbox is continuously reaching out to disabled gamers, whether by charities or by great new tools like the adaptive controller. I got one for my little bro who is paralyzed on his left side, and it's been great!

Really hope MS can turn their image around and do well next-gen.

I've worked with MS in an IT capacity for almost 3 decades, and I've never seen them on their toes when it comes to customer satisfaction as they are right now, not only in their gaming division, but also in OS and application support. It's definitely been a change from the top down, and not always without creating new problems in the process, but I'm pretty happy overall with how much quicker they've been to respond to issues across the board when it comes to O365, Xbox, and Windows support. If they can at some point get a grasp on the W10 Store, I might even buy something there. Maybe.

I love hearing that the adaptive controller is working for you, I've been gaming since I was about 4 and I cant imagine life without it. So it makes me glad to hear your bro can play.

Seems like Phil has the OG Xbox drive that MS needs for their Xbox stuff. And I hope people start to see MS as less of an ogre after the efforts come through.
gonna take a long time for that I think, and a much better effort on PC.

Microsoft is seen as an ogre, not just because of Xbox stuff obviously, but other aspects dating back decades.

The company seems to be doing what it can to change their image into a more customer oriented place, but it'll take time for the perception to change.

I think Xbox is the most visible consumer oriented product they have at the moment. Well there's win10 but it's not really a "thing" outside of people getting it with their PC's.
