So, half a day after the livestream, time to talk about some random stuff:
Regarding the upcoming release schedule, after Leva + Lenna -> Robella, we should see Lainie immediately afterwards, due to her relationships with Leva. Then, maybe we will get Sakura and Lewis. But in the stream, they specifically mentioned the much anticipated Team DEFY will arrive at global soon, so it feels like Alva and Voymastina of DEFY will arrive sooner than later. No matter how it plays out, truly exciting times ahead, Good luck, commanders.
Regarding Deep Oblivion, (also fyi spindoctor), the story event begins right after the ending of Chapter 4 (the aftermath of ODE-01 incident). So if you have forgotten what happened back then, I recommend a quick re-read of it.
About Crew Deck. I only watched a few clips, so I have no idea about its full scope or gameplay loop. Will there be daily tasks to do? How to unlock all these interactions? I think there has to be some kinds of progression in this mode, so I am eager to learn about the specifics. Regarding the gacha pool, I anticipate that they will add a skin that I will NEED to get (maybe a Leva skin?) in the future, so I will save up these tickets for now. Hopefully they will give out these tickets often.
Regarding the platoon update, how Yuzhong described it reminds me the Major Order system from Helldivers 2, where players are given a task, and all of them need to choose and work on a common goal. Success or failure to complete the goal will alter the subsequent world events. Helldivers 2 did it really well to make players engaged, so I hope Mica can learn from them. Speculations ahead: it is a common speculation that Global Rescue Foundation from Reverse Collapse will soon appear in GFL2, since it was established in 2075, whereas the current in-game year is 2074. Imagine this: after its establishment, platoons of dolls are sent out for mission to rescue people in the Yellow Zone. The gameplay of this new platoon mission should fit this narrative perfectly.
Tomorrow CN 2nd anniversary stream will be broadcasted. So let's wait and see if we will get more details about what we will be getting in the future. At this very moment, I'm very excited towards Deep Oblivion.
