You play as the private investigator M.C. Fox, who is chasing a dangerous criminal organization 'The Ascended' across the universe. The first confrontation between M.C. and the leader of The Ascended severely injured M.C. and left him crippled. They also managed to seize the mind of his daughter Taryn. This left only one choice for our protagonist: hire a crew, connect his consciousness into a robotic body called MAG and continue the chase!
Gameplay
The gameplay is divided to 2 different parts: the planet surface and the space ship.
Combat and exploration on planet surface make up the core gameplay of MindSeize. The worlds you explore are full of danger and you can equip two weapons at a time, so find the perfect combination for yourself! The pair of weapons is complemented with variety of special weapons and abilities. These can be found hidden in the nooks and crannies of the planets and some can be crafted by NPCs using scrap, a resource dropped by enemies.
While combat and exploration on the planet surface makes up the majority of the gameplay, some of the time is spent on the space ship, where M.C. is free of his robotic body with a possibility of relaxing a bit and getting to know the crew better. You can also upgrade your MAG and its weaponry at the workshop, and discover possible side quests by talking to the crew.
