Well, it's one of the most boring games I have ever played, but it's great news for those who want to try it.

I'm expecting a pretty shitty pricing from Bamco but I have asked for this for so long that my arm and leg are ready for it..

Its 49.99USD/64.99CAD on PS4/Switch so I assume that'll be the price on PC.

Hopefully GMG or GameBilet have it for like $50CAD like Tales of Vesperia did.

I've always wanted this game, despite always walking away from JRPGs with buyers-remorse... Including Ni-no-Kuni 2. The art is just so lovely though! I won't be buying it on launch day, but I'll keep an eye out for a sale.

Fair pricing for me, about half of US$ base price. I might actually get it right after I'm done with Greedfall.

€49.99 here in Europe. :(

I wish the European pricing would take into consideration that a country like Portugal doesn't have people earning as much as the UK, Germany, France, and other European countries. €49.99 is a decent amount of money here, like more than 1/15th of my monthly salary (and there are people earning far less than me).

I feel you. In a lot of cases, SEA countries pricing are screwed because there's a Singapore among us.

Did anyone pre-order the game outside of Steam, and got the wallpaper?
I pre-ordered from Fanatical, and didn't get it. :(

As a follow-up to my own post, it seems Fanatical's idea of fixing the missing pre-order DLC is to send me a link to download the wallpaper.

This really serves me right.
With a huge backlog of games, I pre-ordered a ridiculously expensive remaster of an older game, because there was a small pre-order bonus.
Now. on top of the money spent, I didn't even get the wallpaper DLC on Steam.

I'm hoping Fanatical will at least refund my purchase.
Otherwise, it will surely be the last time I bought anything from them.

Is it too much to ask that, when buying something, I get the listed content?

I've heard this was $35 on GreenManGaming... but I see $45?

Am I dumb?

So, is it a good port?

I've played it before albeit never finished it, so I'm not too eager to pick it up now. Maybe later in Winter Sale.

Same with GMG, I was sent a link earlier.
I ended up getting rather upset with Fanatical about what happened, and about the way they handled things, and after a few days of back and forth, they refunded my purchase.

If a company lists a pre-order bonus, and lists on the store page that the product will be available as a Steam key, that's what I expect to get.

Voidu was awesome in that regard. For another Bandai Namco game, ACE COMBAT 7, they first sent me a key without the pre-order bonuses. I contacted them, they contacted the publisher, and in no time I had a new key with all the content (it wasn't a key for the pre-order DLC; I remember people from other stores waiting days to get a key for that content; they actually sent me a key on the same day with the game + pre-order bonuses).

Now with Fanatical, first I didn't get anything, nor any info.
Then, after contacting them to complain the missing bonus, I'm sent a link to download the wallpaper, with no info whatsoever.
I reply back explaining the situation, and asking either for a key for the Wallpaper DLC on Steam, or a refund.
They spent days basically telling me "it is what it is, that's what the publisher sent us" and "no, we won't make any attempt to sort things with the supplier", while ignoring my refund request.

It took some direct messages to their twitter account to sort things, and while whoever handled the twitter account was apologetic about the situation, the person who continued to reply to my emails (it was always the same) continued with a rather passive aggressive tone, even on the email confirming the refund. I mean, for him, they are totally within their right to change whatever they want about the delivery of pre-order bonuses.

Needless to say, I'm doubly pissed: I did not get the bonus pre-order DLC (no matter how minor), and Fanatical went from a store I frequently use, to one I'll be avoiding like the plague.

That's such a bummer that it all played out like that for you. I totally get it and I'm not exactly pleased with GMG either. I had thoughts of contacting them, but I'm currently in a back and forth with Amazon over another matter and I'm not sure I have the energy to fight a battle on two fronts with corporations.

At least the silver lining is that you did get your refund. Hopefully another site will come along that offers you a lot of what Fanatical did. :)
