Announcing G-SYNC Compatible Monitors and BFGD Pre-Orders | NVIDIA Blog
Nvidia GeForce graphics cards set to support FreeSync displays

Gsync monitors are regularly going for +300€ than their direct Freesync counterparts, so this is awesome news and one great incentive to upgrade your Nvidia GPU if you're on 9xx and below - like me and my 970

At the moment, there are 12 "officially" compatible monitors but Nvidia is letting users enable Freesync support for their own discretion, so you basically good to go. Your mileage may vary and I'm sure tech channels will release dozens of videos testing other Freesync monitors.

Now, to wait for 21:9 1440p 144Hz Freesync monitors to reach 500€...

Which model did you buy? Some modern TVs support FreeSync. You just might be lucky by accident.
