News Sons of the Forest (The Forest 2) - announced for 2021

The Forest developer Endnight Games announced Sons of the Forest at The Game Awards 2019. Platforms were not announced.

Exciting. The first game is great so it will be interesting to see what they can do with a better plan and a higher budget from the beginning.

I wonder if they will support VR again. I played the entire first game i nVR and it was pretty cool.

Looks cool, I did appreciate how The Forest, to my memory, is only survival game that actually managed to have satisfying end content rather than going onto EA development hell.

That looks intriguing, but survival games of that kind usually lose me a few hours in.

First game is one of my fav VR games so hope they add that support too at some point in development.

i ould say the fiirst one was one of the rare cases of greatly done survival game playable perfectly for singpleplayer
