Then don't no one cares if you buy it or not let's not turn this place in to another era.
All the more reason should be allowed to voice their criticisms of THQ. That's one thing that ERA actually does well. Fuck banning people from discussing that. If you're interested in discussing the game then do so and just ignore other posts? This shit ain't hard.

No one wants to ban anyone from saying anything that's nonsense but you can't even talk about certain games or company's on era anymore without ppl coming in and derailing the threads to oblivion how is that good? If you really feel that strongly about it why not just boycott it and move on? Why do these ppl even feel the need to tell everyone all the time they are boycotting this and that, shouldn't doing it out of principle be enough? Or do they really just do it because they expect a pat on the back for saying they do.

They're not derailing the thread, they are very much on point. Again, it's not hard to ignore those messages and discuss the game. Shit at this point there's more people like you whining about people complaining about THQ than there are people discussing the game

As to why keep doing it : awareness. The more people are informed of the shittyness of the company the better.

I might try it when it's cheap because, to my amazement, I'm told this wasn't actually shovelware and was a good game for its time.

As for the THQ thing I'll just tell people what I said on Era during the Kingdom Come debacle. Do your best to ignore people who are only there to talk about controversy. The actual derail happens when you engage them and shit spirals out of control for pages as everyone argues over what happened and if it's right to still talk about the game or buy it. If you want to talk about the game then just ignore them and do it.

Guys, I know some are passionate (and others don't particular care) about this whole THQ "thing", but lets not start arguing about this with one another.
There's really no need to get upset with one another over a video-game, or a video-game company.

I fully understand those who don't wish to support the company. I boycotted, and still boycott companies, so I can fully respect your position, and willingness to take a stand about something you believe in.
But, I also understand why, to some people, it can become very tiresome to read this "fuck X" or "screw Y" over and over again, in the sense that it creates a rather "aggressive" mood over the forums, and frankly we all see doom and gloom, and tragedies, outside of these forums.

May I suggest what I usually do? I usually voice my "complaints", boycotts, and whatever, on the generic monthly thread, and I skip and try not to participate on the topics regarding the actual games I'll boycott, so that those who are looking forward to the games can discuss them without distractions or discussions.

How about we do this?
Leave the "screw THQ" to the monthly topic, and leave these topics about the THQ games to the people who are interested in them, so they can discuss them in peace.
Just a suggestion. ;)

Maybe we need a "screw THQ" thread, like we (more or less) have one for the Epic Games Store. :grimacing-face:

As much as I still hate THQ Nordic, I am in favor of this.

Its a 3rd person action platformer with open hub words for the worlds. Also, you can play as Spongebob, Patrick, and Sandy depending on the world.
Interesting. Will have to view more trailers to see what it looks like, and come to a conclusion on how I feel visavis THQN

FunktionJCB great points ... not than i really care about the drama or the arguying itself

part of it is fascination as i minored in psychology but mostly
i am just passing the time trying to unterstand the "boycott because outside of the product itself factors" crowd before alcohol kicks in and overall I should really stop long posting online while in shitfaced mood there is some kind of weird downward "doomy gloomy/ fuck everyone" trend and message blured between the sentenses

I already made my feelings clear on the other site so i won't repeat them as I feel this place already knows what they are getting in to. On that note, I saw some gameplay just now, I might get this used or through humble bundle down the line. I gotta thank epic as this has retrained me to wait for things until the time is right lol.

I wonder how this port will turn out. Apparently the remakes for Darksiders 1&2 were worse than the originals, but I guess it doesn't matter for me either way. I still got my Gamecube copy anyway.

[UWSL]SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated releases on June 23, 2020![/UWSL]

Here we are in the Kelp Forest, an interesting area with many sights to see, for those that don't get hopelessly lost first.

Ahhh, Goo Lagoon: a sun-drenched beach of sludge at the bottom of the sea, but all is not well here in paradise.

Downtown Bikini Bottom: once a bustling metropolis, now, a debris-covered crater.

Grab your buddy and face the evil Robo-Squidward in the brand new horde mode for up to two players, online and couch co-op on the same screen! The multiplayer contains 26 islands and 7 playable characters, all with unique attacks.

THQ Noric Producer Martin Kreuch tells us about the development of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom - Rehydrated (BFBB rehydrated) as we take a look at the Downtown Bikini Bottom Level.
