Not in the picture: DJMAX Respect V - V Extension 3 DLC. Lost Judgment and The Good Life were gifts.

Already finished Gridform (middling - solid mechanics but bland level design) and Satryn Deluxe (fun). Miku picross currently doesn't allow you to turn off the assist mode so have to wait for another patch.

Most of the other titles look relatively short so I should finish most of them this year, hopefully.

I do not make New Year's Resolutions per se, but I think this year I am going to try to really limit how many games I buy. I am planning on starting a spreadsheet and budgeting out my purchases.

Two-man team who deliver the goods.

Cross between Deus Ex (immersive sim vibes) and Space Station Silicon Valley.

I've close to a dozen hours between the demo / full release and it's already being earmarked for end-of-year consideration.

See above: Two-man team. Likely be talking about it during '23 awards season.

It's $10 too expensive for the casual viewer, but at least it has a demo.

Staggering depth for a survival-sim. Novel card mechanics for the genre.

Looks find the middle ground between the complexity of Starsector and the lite breeziness of Starcom: Nexus.

Need to put more time in to evaluate.

In an effort to keep my backlog in check, I didn't actually buy anything this Steam sale.
I did get one game as a gift:
  • Stray
GOG's winter sale is where all of my purchases were...(Yes, I'm a backlog hypocrite. A DRM-Free backlog hypocrite)
  • Wingman
  • Terror of Hemasaurus
  • Industria

Judging from my available gaming time, honestly I bought too many games during the winter sale. Going to seriously limit my gaming purchase in 2023.

Days Gone
Assassin's Creed 2
Watch Dogs 2 + DLC
Ara Fell
Immortal Fenyx Rising
Research and Destroy
Panzer Dragoon Remake
House of the Dead Remake
Terminator Resistance

yeah unfortunately I noticed that too... a bit of a shame!
It's a bit of a bummer too that there's some wasted space that they use for visual borders and such that could be stripped out to make the actual play area bigger. But maybe it wouldn't be enough to make an actual difference.
I guess it's time to invest on a tablet!

I need screen folding tech get into a point where I can have a phone sized phone, and then unfold it as many times as I need to also make it a comfortable tablet experience. :grinning-face:

Also got this at the last moment, my only steam purchase on steam.

The complete version, though that's a lie, it's incomplete, missing the latest class DLC

The thing that scares me about this game is the permanent online part and the install size, otherwise it sounds fun!
