Joseph usually does a great job in his video but this one particularly hits the nail on one of my pet peeves.
It's nothing unique to era or gaf, it happens pretty much everywhere.

People feel almost personally attacked when you voice your opinion in a "normal" fashion, without stating that it's your experience, your opinion.
The poster-child for this I experienced, were Zelda BotW threads where the OP stated their dissatisfaction/disappointment or general not enjoying the game.
So often, a wave of quippy one-liners are posted that dismiss the OP. Like, one person not enjoying a game and sharing it does not change your enjoyment with it.
Stop feeling the need to defend games. Instead, how about counter arguments what and why you enjoyed it? It comes off simply childish and pathetic, and makes me not want to interact with such a crowd altogether.

As always, Joseph bringing hot topics.
As someone who who watches/reads unhealthy amounts of gaming videos/articles, I've been a culprit of taking some "objectivity" in many of these subjective opinions.

I'm glad he clarified the position of not just himself, but all the other content creators/critics by giving better understanding of their perspective.
