I didn't watch the Sonic 2 one, so I didn't even know Sonic 2 was US developed. I always imagined Mark Cerny just merged to Japan like Dylan Cuthbert.
Some very cool info here. One of my favorite eras of gaming, but I didn't know they were splitting up Sonic 3. I didn't buy Sonic 3 in the day because I did feel it was lacking content. I would have 100% bought it if it was the full package they originally planned (+ S&K)
