So Noclip did a documentary about Half-Life! It's pretty long, so still haven't watched it.

Very insightful, kind of already confirms what we suspected at the very end. Valve is done with the Half Life franchise, we'll never get another Half Life game. Which viewed from a general perspective, is a good thing.

Great doc. I like how Danny didn't get deterred by the fact that Valve didn't want to speak to anything, but instead embraced it and made it about the community.

Also, a bit sad to hear how they've been in business relationships.

I remember watching the HTC MWC event live, as the rumours were looking quite likely that Valve was going to get into bring a VR headset out. I was looking at Twitter at the same time and watching a bunch of Valve staff getting hyped "This is it" etc, just before the announcement started. Then afterwards, they were quite talkative - about how long they worked at it, why they are doing it etc. Those tweets gave a really good insight into just how crazy motivated they were/are about the long term of their efforts.
