Our latest title. A tense third person stealth based thriller set in rural England. Grey Skies (Working Title) puts you in control of Harper, following her personal story amidst the most significant event in human history.

This reminds me that I want to rewatch the film, as I haven't seen that in at least a decade.

Wonder if it will take inspiration more from the novel, the radio drama or one of the films. Either way, I'm kinda shocked this is the first adaptation of War of the World (that I can recall) being made into a game.

There was a badly-reviewed RTS version back in 1998, based on the Jeff Wayne musical.

Shame this new one's modern-day rather than being period, but I'll keep an eye on it.

Third person, stealth based thriller sounds to me like the player will be constantly hiding, without a way to really fight back.
Which is fine, but just not for me. I don't like being the prey in games, all of the time tbh.
