New week, new thread! What are you playing?

I was consumed by the major event of Girls' Frontline 2. The story was so engrossing that I was completely in awe 😲 by what's happening on the screen especially during the climax. This might sound too dramatic, but sometimes the story of GFL seriously made me think about how can I be a better person in a messed up world.

Man, videogames.

I've been playing Timberborn since it just had it's 1.0 release.
Such a cozy game.
"Finished" one of the beginner friendly maps (capped all badwater sources)
There are no goals as such I guess you just do what you want.

Quite a bit.

Mentioned in the Steam thread, finished Expedition 33. Unfortunately the story direction and ending was largely disappointing. I'm both glad and regret that I did a lot of side-questing and exploring before tackling the finale. Regret because it led to me being very overpowered and it made the fights a joke. Glad because the side-questing and exploring was a lot of fun, but the ending made me lose all interest in revisiting the world so I wouldn't have experienced that otherwise.

Marco & The Galaxy Dragon: Short and quirky VN with crazy high production values. Interesting story but I feel like it was a bit too fast-paced and stuff didn't always hit as it should have with some more build-up. Good time tough.

Rabi-Ribi: Fun Metroidvania with Bullet Hell elements. Played for a couple hours and had a good time. Not sure I will continue though, feel like I had my fill already. The story/writing is a bit too shallow and the world not interesting enough to keep me going I think. The boss fights so far were quite fun, but I kind of don't like how they scale with both story and exploration.

Danganronpa: Ultra Despair Girls: As a game it's pretty budget and jank, but I'm here for the over-the-top crazyness and so far so good.
