New week, new thread! What are you playing?

I finished Poison Control. Got all trophies. Gameplay is very repetitive and mediocre, but the main story has its surprising moments during the later half. Some standalone story stages are also fun because they explore how Japanese girls think in different scenarios. The game also has two endings and both of them can be canon imo. I like that both of them are not "perfect" because sacrifice was inevitable in different ways. Overall I enjoyed the game and can recommend it to people who crave for a janky experience.

Also idling Heaven Burns Red at the moment of writing. Shits take time to grind. :confused-face: I have been going through event stories lately and they are good.

Ended up playing SCP: Secret Files. Essentially it's 5 distinct mini-stories wrapped inside a small overarching story.
Each of the mini-stories varies wildly in graphic style, gameplay and... quality.
The first one was a good intro story, the 2nd one was very good, the 3rd one was boring, the 4th one was decent and the 5th one was okay-ish. Honestly, you could probably just play the first 2 and bail.

Started playing Cassette Beasts and I'm super into it. I didn't know you don't "summon" the monsters, but transform into them! It's great.

Also went back to continue on with Kingdom Hearts 2 today. I think I'm closing in on the end, but unlike KH1 I wanna do a lot of the optional stuff in this game, so it's probably still gonna take me awhile.

New Zenless Zone Zero patch dropped as well and it's been solid.

Finished metaphor, the last part took me a bit more than I expected. The funny thing is that in the end the game gives you enough time to do everything (except the traditional atlus superboss that's hidden behind NG+)
Since DQ3 doesn't launch until next week, I decided to do a NG+ and beat the metaphor secret NG+ boss and I'm speed running until i have my whole party and it's pretty impressive how fast you can progress with endgame gear and maxed out jobs (i reached past midgame in a few hours).

Still AC Valhalla. 168 hours in, according to Steam. :cold-sweat:

I finished the Sigurd arc and I think there's one region left in England, so in that sense I'm closing in on the end.
Still plenty of game left and things to do, haven't burned out yet lol.
Bunch of side stuff, maybe some collectables. And the DLC of course.

Long game is long.
There's also that free crossover mission that they added with a Mirage tie in, unsure if I should do it last or what.

Took a break from Veilguard and Metaphor (both on Steam). Will come back to the former this weekend (Metaphor needs a specific mood, while Dragon Age is more actiony and simple.

In the meantime, I finished the remaining 50% of Astro Bot at last, plus all trophies for the (free) DLC.
Holy crap, that game was fuckin holdin' out! The first half was really great, but the second half is some all time shit.

That final level! That specific game song they chose to play during it! Its a loud declaration from Team Asobi that they are a) hardcore AF, and b) my kinda people... I thought Metaphor had GotY in the bag, but Astro Boy had me openly weeping in a "I can't believe this is happening, holy shit" kinda way.
