New week, new thread! What are you playing?

I am enjoying Assassin's Creed Origins a lot. In my honest opinion, this is fantastic. Very, very beautiful artstyle and graphics. I have a strange curiousity towards Egypt since I watched the first Mummy movie when I was young. Egypt is so foreign and mysterious in my eyes and their culture is truly unique. ACO captures the allure of the country and the environment perfectly. I particularly love all the illusion happening during desert exploration. Ubisoft surely added interesting elements to this vast open space.

Gameplay is familiar yet new to me I enjoy almost every aspect of it, except the extreme spongy and ruthless high level enemy in some camps. I also love how brutal Bayek is. On one hand, he is a humble and honest man with integrity, on the other hand, when facing enemies he becomes the rawest manifest of brutality. Sometimes I purposely stir up open conflict in order to enjoy his combat animations. Although my time with ACO is limited, he is quickly becoming my favotite protagonist in the series.

Slowly progressing in DQ3 Remake. Completed the pyramid. I'm surprised that there are basically no bosses so far. I like the fact that you can restart boss fights even if it kind of takes away the traditional sending you back to church and lose half the money.

Kinda dropped Heaven Burns Red. I like the story, but I do not like the gameplay at all and had some bad gacha luck, so I'm prioritizing reading through the Girls' Frontline story since the sequel drops on the 3rd. Maybe I'll get back to HBR once I have some room.

Other than that, Genshin dropped a bunch of new areas, so I've also been doing that. Good stuff as usual.
