New week, new thread! What are you playing?

I am devoting most of my gaming time into Final Fantasy XVI. The game is really long, and I think I have progressed into the final 1/3 part of the main story. It has obvious pacing woes and story has its mature as well as anime moments, but the writing continues to be great. Meanwhile, there are so many side quests to do and my motivation is slowly decreasing thanks to the boring quest designs. Moving forward, I plan to play the game in short burst to avoid burnt-out.

Continuing with The Great Ace Attorney, In the final episode of the first game. I've said it before but I really like how the story feels like a continuing story and not a bunch of disjointed cases with some small connection. Once I'm done I'll play the second game.

Also, a bit of Vampire Survivors Ode To Castlevania DLC, At the rate I'm playing it will take me forever to unlock everything.

Just finished Metaphor, 122 hours in game according to steam. It was a pretty fun jrpg. Combat system hitting that dopamine whenever I see weak/critical, setting up powerful archetype with the inherited system is pretty fun as well. The story is fine. The likable heroes and villains makes me want to finish the game, unlike Tales of Arise. The music and VA was fantastic as well.

I think I overdid my leveling a bit because the last boss was pretty easy on hard difficulty. I'll play FF7 remake and rebirth next I guess.

And where's my Heismay/Lina plushie, Atlus?

I started playing L.A.Noire. Years ago I played the original game on the 360 but encountered a bug in a bowling alley. Abandoned the game out of frustration and never looked back. Now let's see how the PC version fares.

I am following a guide completely to enjoy the story. Installed a mod to unlock framerate and it runs perfectly. Already got through a few cases. So far so good.

I usually dont post in these threads because I play an embarassing amount of games in a hodgepodge headless-chicken-decides-what-to-play-next mode. I'll play one game for an hour, then switch to something else, play that for a bit, and so on.

But recently I've been somewhat more focused, and played good chunks of Final Fantasy VII Remake; as well as SimCity 3000.

One of my latest cities, inspired by a city I made all the way back in the first SimCity (although that one was smaller, and the savefile is long lost)

So many great games in that list :thumbsupblob:

If you are enjoying there's no problem in jumping through games imo.

I really should return to Ryza though. Already reached the final stretch but FF16 consumed me for the past three weeks. :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-winking-eye:

Yeah I kinda just accepted it and keep playing that way. Every now and then a game comes and snatches all my attention anyway, in the meantime this is fine ;)
