I went through a mid-heavy depression phase, so there is that. And even without it, since the Deck offered me another way to access my collection I have been so overwhelmed by the sheer size of it that I’m generally incapable of choosing what to play.

I went through and am still somewhat in a rogue lite phase, so Dead Cells, Windblown (pretty shit) and Rogue PoP.

Imminently starting PoE2 and toying with the idea of finally playing Rogue Trader, but that’s a shaky proposition for someone with reading ocd, fed up with unending dialogs in games and who couldn’t be arsed to finish BG3.

I have also been playing Magic Arena for the longest time in many attempts.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption for the first time. I've got about 10 hours played and it's fine, but nothing special. RDR2 is simply a better game in every way possible and I kind of just want to play that instead. I do want to get the story bits though so I'll stick with it for now.

SF6: wrapped up the world tour content that i was missing since the last update
DQ3: made it to The underworld guess i'm in the home stretch. I said it before but the fact that you can reload the last autosave on death (meaning you don't lose money) kind of makes the game slightly easier (i think it's a good improvement, just that it tries to keep the game working as originally intended, but adding that on top). Also it wouldn't be a DQ game w/o a last minute twist.

Still AC Valhalla. Doing the Ragnarok DLC at the moment, it seems meatier than the France and Ireland DLCs were.

Mostly Girls Frontline 2 and Infinity Nikki with a dash of Star Rail.
Enjoying the story in GFL2 and graphically it looks very good, but it feels too much like an "old-school" mobile game in its design with all the menus and modes, so I dunno if it's something I'll play for a longer time, since historically I've never been able to stick with games like this for all that long.
On the other hand I'm loving Infinity Nikki. The gameplay loop is very fun and the game is positively charming and relaxing.

Finished Dawn of Ragnarok in AC Valhalla.

Now that it's mostly done, I'm thinking about maybe doing 100% of the achievements. I'm not too far from it either. Missing 19 right now, lots of it is just the types where you do some specific thing wearing some specific armor or whatever. Couple of them are for the Forgotten Saga rogue lite mode which I'm going to play anyway. Also fishing. But it's all very doable. :thinking-blob:

Making my way slowly through Veilguad. Been to busy this months to really delve into it as much as I wanted.

Meanwhile also been replaying Half Life 2 with the commentary track. Remarkable how much there is learn about this old title, and it increased my respect for Valve as a studio by so much. It's crazy how many techniques and game dev principles they spear headed with this title, super ahead of its time and I can see how after the huge success of Steam, and hence no pressure on making mediocre stuff just to make cash, this studio would take their time to make the most interesting titles (for them) they can make. It might never give us HL3, but it's clear that Valve simply had no idea how to make a follow up that wasn't simply iterative, but kept doing as many new and interesting things as HL2 did coming from HL1. Maybe with VR they can actually do something there.

I played 1000xRESIST. That was really quite interesting. I don't agree with some of the most enthusiastic takes I've seen calling it one of the best story-driven games ever, but it's easily one of my recent favorites.
