New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Continuing Girls' Frontline 2. Said more than enough. It's good. :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-winking-eye:

I also returned to / restarted Ar Tonelico. Now playing it on my PC screen instead of Steam Deck. Such a charming game.

3rd or 4th test character of Rogue Trader before settling in to an actual run.

Last night i updated my OpenMW Starwind install with a view to restarting that after 6 months.

While doing that i was reminded of the Star Wars Total Conversion for Kenshi called Project Kathun so i poked around and found the WorkshopDL app so i could download the mods i need from the Steam Workshop and put them in my GOG install of Kenshi and will be messing about with Project Kathun - Clone Wars Edition later on.

I started playing the incredibly concisely, beautifully and meaningfully named Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade INTERmission.

In terms of core gameplay I actually really like it so far. Having a main character that has melee and ranged and all elemental attacks and starts of with scanning and a few more abilities makes the combat system shine more than almost anything in the base game, right from the start.

That said, in the 3 hours I played of the game so far I haven't actually done that much core gameplay, since (previously unbeknownst to me) they decided to add a semi-RTS/tower offense minigame and I spent probably almost 2 hours fully completing that. That was actually pretty fun, I almost wish they had had a few more opponents.

Been playing a ton of Infinity Nikki. Just a really enjoyable experience all around. Very pretty, lots of minigames and collectibles, really cool platforming setpieces and the story and lore are actually pretty interesting. Shit gets surprisingly dark too.
Did more Girls Frontline 2 story and event stuff as well. Nothing much new other than my gacha luck being abysmal.

Dragon Quest 3: Finished the main story, looking into the post game. Not sure if I'll do it all, if i need to grind i might drop it (Having beaten the game in Draconian with minimal grinding was great)

Virtua Fighter 5 Beta: Tried the beta, I don't know what to say, the way the game controls breaks my brain (guard button, and certain movements) but I might be willing to play the full game down the line to get a better feel.

Girls Frontline 2! Made it to level 40, event is cleared and story as well. Now begins the process of building characters up and stocking materials for the next wave.

Elden Ring. Picked up the DLC like two weeks ago so started a New Game to play through it all once more. I get tired out by the open world quickly though so I think it will take a long time until I'm at the DLC...:blobweary:

Almost done with Vamp Survivors. Just 10 achievements left!

I just hit Lv36. Still haven't gone through ch.6 because I am not sure main story chapter will be added soon. Going to save some for later when I feel like progressing!

Still Assassin's Creed Valhalla. :grinning-face:
After finishing the Ragnarok DLC I have cleaned up some miscellaneous quests and started the rogue lite mode. No idea how long that's going to entertain me, but it's nice so far. I'm definitely going to 100% this damn thing now, that much is certain.

If I manage finish it this week, I'll probably start Ghost Song, Spirit of the North or ReCore as those are my remaining blitz games.

Path of Exile 2 is my life right now. It mostly delivers on the expectations and shit all over D4.
It’s certainly slower than 1 and some people find it too hard. A couple of bosses certainly pushed my buttons, and I’m still angry to see that, without spoiling, my last attempt ate my token.

The biggest issue is only apparent a good amount of time in. For a loot game, the loot is surprinsingly bad. I get that the dev want you to upgrade your stuff with magical doodads, but I object, give me a regular treadmill of better gear, kindly please, motherfucker.

Nothing here strikes as deep flaws that won’t be tinkered with as time goes, so whatev.

The only issue of POE2 is that it isn’t finished, which, as far as games in EA goes, is pretty much the ideal outcome.

Just wrapped up Flintlock Siege of Dawn, which I really enjoyed.

I’ve just started V Rising, which seems pretty cool so far. I’ve only been able to play for a couple hours, but I’ve been watching done YouTube videos as there looks to be quite a bit to it.

On the side I’m playing The Invincible.

Looked at Flintlock and it's the Ashen devs and wow, that's a game i haven't thought about for a long while. I thought i'd bought it but i must have just watched a lot of Let's Plays or maybe it's on my PS4? hmmm.

I started playing the Witness yesterday. Plan to play it for maximum an hour a day. It was very enjoyable so far. Just unlocked the first beam on a rocky hill.
I have advice for The Witness. Do not go up on top of the mountain.

Maybe you already know The Witness's big secret. Maybe it's well known by now? I don't know, I played it blind personally. But if you don't know, do not go up to the top of the mountain until after that moment where it clicks. You'll know what I'm talking about when it happens. It's my strongest memory of that game, realizing the core secret of the game. And the top of the mountain spoils/tutorializes it, so I'm glad I realized it on my own before I happened to explore up there.

Thank for the advice. I wasn't spoiled so I have no idea regarding the twist.I will avoid the mountain for now. (y)

I'm a master assassin.
Steam says 318 hours, but I know there's a bunch of idle time there, like yesterday I was playing the rogue lite mode early in the day, had a great run going but suddenly had to leave and the mode doesn't have any kind of in-progress save, so I just left the game running all day while I was out. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes: And actually the run that I had going was so good that I beat the final boss and finished the mode there and then.
:toucan:
I mean it's still a lot, probably very close to 300 of "normal" game time.

So now I'm going to start something from my blitz, likely Ghost Song.
