Hardline actually has a decent singleplayer campaign. At least from what I played years ago.

So if you are looking for a good non-multi time check it out. Its probably the best effort they'll ever put into that side of the BF games. Tho I didn't play the newest one.

My guess is that they will release Apex until the start of the next season. It would be weird to do it know since we’re halfway through S5. But who knows.

Nah, it's just that I love when people have a good time with the events, disappointments for people makes me sad :(
Nothing ventured nothing gained I guess. :p

I'm not really banking on a PC confirmation tonight. It would be a very nice bonus.

Do you guys feel 'hyped' for these events? It's probably my 41 years of age talking but I find 99% of the build up to these events to be, well, incredibly cringey. Like, I was reading some Era posts about people dreaming about the PS5 reveal or Marc Cerny and I couldn't believe my eyes. Are grown-ass adults behaving like children or are these users actually children?

There is no way they would stealth release both on Saturday right? That would be crazy for Atlus and very unlike SEGA based off what they did with Yakuza games. Assuming SEGA is even calling the shots here.

I think P4G will be this week.

Then P3 will be later this year. Maybe they put work into this one

And then P5 early next year.

I'm hyped because its a digital event. There will be much less cringe as a result. They already confirmed over 1hr of games so that probably leaves another 20 or so minutes talking about PS5 features etc. So the pacing should be very good unlike the past 4 years of Sony stuff which was boring and annoying with some of the stupid stuff they did. If they can get it on the level of the Xbox events it should be good.

That really depends on your definition of hyped.
Excited? Certainly. It's always fun to see a bunch of exciting projects being announced/shown off.
But i'm not the kidn to scream i nfront of the monitor.
Except that one time NieR Automata was announced.
Then i did scream. Quite a lot.

I used to watch the E3 togeher with some e-buddies on Teamspeak back in the day and that was always great fun

Which version of 3? It would be nice if they somehow remade P3P with the FeMC option as well as the full party member controls.
It would be cool if it were a new one.
I'm not at all expecting that tho.

In regards to the PS5 event, I am interested about how the games look. A new console generation is always opportunity for new AAA IP, which is also very exciting.

But to be honest, what I'm interested in more than anything else is seeing a new mainline Final Fantasy game. Square Enix has form for announcing the next mainline FF at Sony's console blowout, and I'm hoping that's no different this time around.

The only thing I'm really curious about is PSVR 2.0 and if Valve would announce Half-Life Alyx as a title for it.
Sony has stated they won't show both PSVR 2 and PS5 in the same year, so I expect Alyx to be announced for PSVR on PS5 in some hours.

Sony would still need to show some new VR controllers for Alyx to work. There's no way that game functions in an acceptable way on the PS Move controllers. So maybe PSVR 1.5? ;)

I don't know how Sony or Valve will do it, I just expect Alyx PS5 announcement tonight. I would be suprised if they didn't announce it tonight. Lots of eyes on Sonys showcase so if Alyx will be there Valve will have more eyes on the game.

I’m just interested about how the hardware itself looks. We all know launch games nowadays are last gen left overs

I'm glad EA didnt skip Battlefield 3/4 because those are the ones I wanted the most but bringing Starwars Battlefront 1 and making me wait another week for Titanfall 2 kinda stinks ngl

If there is actual cringe within the event itself then I will get what I come for. Drama is much better than some mediocre game announcements.

The worst and most typical case is complete boredom.

I still like Bad Company more, but Hardline has more interesting SP than BF3 and BF4 (didn't play 1 and V).

I think I prefer the Nintendo approach to this shit. Just drop the Direct announcement one day before and go all in.

Agreed. It's very odd but at the same time Era is known for hosting colorful specimens.

I think it's maybe cos I'm getting older but the appeal of subscriptions services is getting far, far stronger now, especially when 99% of games I play I only end up playing the once to completion anyway, so financially it just "makes sense" =/

I'm hyped but appropriately y'know? I'm not planning a fucking dinner date with this event like some people are doing, that's for sure.

As for your question, the answer is yes.

I'm the opposite. I play games at my own pace and timing, I don't want to be worried about "making the most" out of a subscription or having a deadline to play games before they get removed.

I'm about to drop whatever I'm playing right now to play PS2 games on Saturday, for example, and I'm gonna do that without worry or care because the games I'm currently playing are mine and aren't going anywhere.

I think it might really be mostly an age thing. 10+ years ago I did get excited for E3.

Now, I'll just read metacouncil later to see if there was anything interesting.

I personally can't handle subscription. Im getting to stressed out worring about games leaving the service, my sub lapsing and so on.

I like to know that the game I play today is a game I can play in 2026 too.
