Well, Journey is the first EGS exclusive I buy day one on Steam. Free Flower made it too tempting. Also the fact that I somehow never got around to playing it on consoles.

Also holy shit, Bloodborne is actually happening isn't it? I'd almost feel like an idiot for playing it on PSNow last year if I wasn't so fucking excited to replay it with a resolution and IQ fit for humans beings. Souls games are more fun to me on replays anyway and I imagine I'll be able to play the DLC this time.

I hope someone can mod out the spiders on Bloodborne
Spiders are our friends. Haven't squished one in years. (To others horror as I carry them outside on pieces of paper)

You must become one with arachnid. This will help if you are driving and suddenly there is a spider on or near you in a car. You think it will never happen and then it happens. Due to my spider friendliness training, I was able to calmly control the vehicle and brush it off when it was safe to do so.

yall just really gotta find the acceptance that BBPC IS happening lol
I have my doubts until it happens.
Because feet a gross
some people pay money to see feet though, and also to meet Fett.

When did this change? (to requiring ownership on Steam)
Is this because of Origin? You can own the game on Origin and then just buy the game through Steam?

You could just ask PC-tan themselves.
I guess he didn't want to ask me.... it's okay there is always next time :wd_rain:

also NarohDethan I wanted to gift you a game, sadly some one ended up sending me a message on Twitter asking if they could have the game instead.

Oh yeah, appropriately hyped of course

Well at least some are going along with the joke as for other I am not too sure, which is what does concern me

Haha, wut

if it makes you feel any better prior to today, instead of saying Halo it was Far Cry 3. Anna I (the publisher) even made a joke about it on Twitter.

At one point in time was Plants VS Zombies removed from Steam?

I don't think I am going to buy these games from Steam until after the EA Access thing just to see how it works out since some of these I will likely just play for the single player and a bit of the multiplayer before never playing them again.

WTF?

How is that even possible? Why didn't they fix that?

Ya it looks like this has been happening for a while. The last time that I was really playing Titanfall 2 was maybe in 2017 I think and it didn't have these issues. I tired it again last year and ya this was an issue.

I do hope that they do something, Because Titanfall 1 is petty good and if they released it on Steam that would give it a decent player base. When I was really into Titanfall 1 I think there was less than 1k people playing it on Origin. And when I tired looking last year it was less than 100 people that were still playing the game.

The game kept crashing on me. Source Engine games on Origin just crash (Freeze) my PC for some reason, Titanfall 1 does it, Titanfall 2 does it and so does Apex. The reason I stopped playing Apex was because of the freezing. Other wise I might still be playing it to this day. I stopped around the time of Season 2, which is when Watson was intoduced and even then I only played a few rounds. When season 3 happened I maybe played 3 rounds before calling it quits.

I like simplicity in my games (which is why I prefer things like OG Star Wars Battlefront over OG Battlefron 2, that everyone seems to love). I only played a round of Titanfall 2 but I didn't like some of the changes, I didn't play enough to get a really good feeling for the game though.

Also as for maps the ones in Titanfall 1 are okay, there are some that are just complete Horse Puckey though. Since there is not a lot that you can do in some maps to get the upper hand and you are basically corned for a good chunk of the game.

Do you guys feel 'hyped' for these events? It's probably my 41 years of age talking but I find 99% of the build up to these events to be, well, incredibly cringey. Like, I was reading some Era posts about people dreaming about the PS5 reveal or Marc Cerny and I couldn't believe my eyes. Are grown-ass adults behaving like children or are these users actually children?
I'm excited but only in the sense that I want to see the multi-platform games that would probably get a PC release. E.g. I like From Software games so Bloodborne PC and Demon's Souls remake would be interesting to me. Plus I like Resident Evil so Capcom's showing anything there would get me excited.

But I wouldn't be hyped in the way that you're describing. If these people are just being silly or doing it for fun and not really being serious, then I don't mind. I do that with Nintendo Directs too. But if they're serious? Then I find it cringey just like you do and it's one of the reasons why I can't stand these kinds of people anywhere. I just hate console warriors like those and because of that, you get some really stupid topics like how an open-platform PC should be more like a walled garden or at least have that option, or how the new consoles will outperform PC games or components, and other dumb things.

So yeah, I'm interested but that's it.

I got my (final?) update on the W101 situation I've been having, and it's not great:

What a damn mess!
What happened? Also are they going to be doing the physical PC copies?

I kind of wanted to back the game, but in the end I'm just glad that I was able to find someone that sold me their Key for $20USD

Since Platinum is self publishing I wonder what they will do about sales and what is the lowest that it will ever go sort of thing, in the future

Like most have said i'm curious and interested not hyped. If i miss the presentation and catch the news tomorrow it'll be no big deal but i will feel silly that i changed into my birthday suit and PS Socks for nothing.

It runs great on my machine, over 14o FPs, at 1440p and it looks and sounds stunning.
I played this before on PS Now, and it looks so much better native on PC.
Recommend this to everyone, now you can properly play it on PC without having to pay ransom money to Sweeney
Thanks you soo much! probably will buy it

Started Half-Life 2 Episode 1. Only finished the first part but going by achievements and hltb I am already a fourth through the game. The bigger focus on puzzles was kinda neat. It's also interesting to see the late game/final area of Half-Life 2 as the first one here with reduced encounter complexity.

I played a bit through Journey and I like how it had native DS4 support, but just like Flower you have to disable support on Steam.

Also for some reason I am not seeing my FPS that Nvidia normally shows. Also it looks like Detroit does have native DS4 support.

So what do those other QD games do then when you have to shack your controller then? Since they were showing me DS4 UI?

If the Sony event is all cinematic trailers and no gameplay, then it'll be the same level as that Xbox event. Just show gameplay

Honestly I want to know the controller price and battery levels but I doubt we'll know that this early.

I enjoy "console launch presentations" because a new console generation means a new hardware base that will become the standard for the big games in the following years. Even if I don't play the big titles until years later it is cool to see the "next-gen" visuals etc. (even with the diminishing returns nowadays).
Lets just hope that the new console generation does not mean more crunch for developers.

That is great!
Blender has implemented VR support via OpenXR. So Index and Vive headsets should be usable in Blender soon.

1.2(1) gigawatts of pure, fantastic self-efficient coal power. Finally, no more running around and manually stocking those Biofuel Generators.
I moved 6 of the biofuel generators over to the coal power plant though (180MW). Just in case I need to jump start the coal harvesters and water pumps. You always need a fall back emergency system.

If I'm annoying y'all with my Satisfactory posts, I'll stop. I'm just having too much fun to not share.
Look at all that clean coal!

Even if that's all that's shown it will be heralded as unique and innovative genius

Only for Playstation because Cerny himself came in a dream to me and whispered I will be his number one fan if I wear PlayStation Trademarked merchandise while watching the show.
He came, uh. Uh.
