Maybe I'm too cynical but I definitely got the feeling the money was good this year.
Last one was more subtle, this year it was indeed a big EGS push. Which in itself, considering the offering, is... kinda pathetic.
Among Trees got in and out of my radar super fast, and apart from Twin Mirror... :shrugblob:

Intrigued to see Iron Harvest in the sizzle reel, after nearly begging for wishlists last year saying they would be on Steam.
Iron Harvest is up for pre-order on Steam. I guess Epic didn't have enough actual exclusives this year.

Welp

No Yakuza 3 to 6
No Judgment
No Bloodborne
No Crash Team Racing
No Horizon Zero Dawn release date
No Persona 3

In all honesty, otherwise that was a very interesting and broad selection of games, which is great.
EGS popped it's head up a lot more than I expected :face-with-cold-sweat:

Only watched the last hour, a lot of that was EGS stuff. As expected.

On another topic, is P4G a good enough port to pick up?

Should be around 15$ with WARIO64 discount code. (depending on what conversion your payment method uses, anyway)

Outside of Mortal Shell and Twin Mirror EGS exclusives weren't that tempting, at all. Plus it seems Lord Gaben already made a bank with P4G and Torchlight 3.

Eh
Next time.

One habit game pubs seem to do is focus on one title at a time. So for now Persona 4 Golden, next month or the one after, it's a Yakuza game.
My guess is that they will wait until a PS5 announcement for Bloodborne

Yeah it's been a year since the console release this month, so I don't think it's happening now =/
Well, with the start of the year we had, I don't know if we can deduct anything. There is still some sorta hope.

I'd start by opening the windows settings for audio (the good, Win7 ones), and
1) disabling all audio devices you aren't using.
2) checking the one you are using atnd setting it to 2 channel 48 kHz, if possible (which it should be).
3) running the game again and seeing what happens.
Thanks for the tip! I have two sounds, the main cirrus logic thingie with both speakers and headphones and the HDMI sound on the screen. Tried to only have one of those active but nothing worked. Also tried both 16 bit and 24 bit 2 channel 48khz sound but nothing.

Its strange since the cutscenes have sound?

Sadly I didn't discover anything new that might interest me. Glad Mafia remake, Humankind and Everspace 2 are looking great (but we already knew these existed...)

Overall pretty meh for me.

edit: where the f*** is Silksong???

I have to admit I liked Guerrilla Collective streaming above all I liked the idea behind it. Instead of focusing on big hits they aimed for a mix of indie developers which in most cases showned some potential such as Ultrakill and Haven.

I must also confess from what I saw many or most of them don't cater my personal preferences but what I saw was different, fresh and mainly with a proper and unique soul. There were some cool games I instantly wishlisted and the steam store page for the event helped me do it.

Guerrilla Collective

Regarding the page I noticed games were added over the course of the stream so thats a plus to not spoil it by mistake like Persona 4.

There are 2 days more of show to see what's left of it but despite the technical flaws it had I ended quite satisfied with the result of it.

Thx, worked. Paid 14€ for the game, but had to give them my mobile number to unlock the key.
Wish I would have known before paying though.

Now let's see why you all are so hyped.

I preferred Guerilla Collective to PC Gaming Show to be honest. It went quicker and was more informative, PCGS had a lot of bloat and jokes between trailers were eh a lot of the time.

I don't watch the shows, or maybe just glimpses, I just update the channel/videos page to see trailers uploaded :d

See you in 100 hours! It’s a pretty cool game by and large, but it’s got stuff that hasn’t aged particularly well. Or my sensibilities and/or tolerance have changed since. The stuff with Yosuke and Kanji, king’s game, bath house stuff, etc. You’ll see. It’s very, uh, traditional let’s say.

G-Sync ain't working with P4G :shrugblob:. Even worse my display switches to 60Hz, while the game runs at whatever it wants.

It was a little proof that I sometimes get information :cat-heart-blob:
Might not be that impressive but better than nothing.

Anything on Yakuza, Juddement, Horizon?

Would have thought those would show up there.

I guess Bloodborne is later this year.

Wow, I am playing P4G right now and have a Let's play from the vita version on the second monitor. The difference is immense! The PC version is crystal clear, didn't remember the vita version looking so bad in comparison. Especially while in motion, the blur on the vita version makes it a washed out mess and I barely see the motion blur in the PC version.

(checked 2 other lets plays of the vita version to exclude a bad capture from the lets player I am watching)

Horizon is sometime this month

I'm actually surprised that SEGA didn't show up some more stuff, not saying it was going to be there but there's indeed stuff ready to be announced.

BB is 2020 if nothing changes, patience.

I will call it a night with some perplexity about Outlast something. I liked the first one but the critical reception to the sequel felt mixed, so still have to play it. And now what ? A multiplayer survival horror ? With a gruesome trailer just for the sake of it ?
I'm really beginning to doubt the dev here.

I should play Observer, maybe I put faith on the wrong dev team.
