Just did a quick look through their store pages, and nothing beyond Void is really grabbing me.

5 games from the wishlist this month and 2 dupes so I dont have to choose between any games to skip out on. Subbed.

Satisfactory has sold 1,326,580 copies. 367,601 copies on Steam in less than a month and 958,917 copies on EGS in 13 and a half months. Epic took 3 months to hit 500k.

Remember guys just another launcher nobody is gonna wait a year for the Steam release.

So what you're telling me here is that it only hit 500k when Epic did that 10 USD off mega sale ?

Holy shit.. Steam sold about 1/3 on EGS copies in about 1 month. And it was EGSxclusive for about 13 months.

I think I'm going to pass. I'd like to own a copy of Planetfall (Age of Wonders III was pretty good, but I kinda hate fantasy games...), but I don't think it's worth 12$!

Metal Unit is an Early Access game that came out in February this year. Have there been other EA games in Monthly/Choice?

Just looked at my regional top seller on steam. Take a quick look.
The two top sellers are:

1.) PlayStation Game
2.) Xbox Game

Both not discounted, during the Steam Summer Sale.

Pretty sure it hit 500k before the mega sale actually. Epic has done 3 mega sales with $10 coupons since it hit 500k and only managed to scoop up 400k extra copies.

Are those like, real, played by a human being copies on EGS? That's kinda higher than I expected tbh. I though 500k or something.

No bundle for me, nothing to play. :tired-face:
What should I be? Zanki Zero tempted me, but now I have doubts.
Labyrinth of Refrain? Digimon? Something else?
I don't know anymore :notlikethisblob:

It was a really popular youtuber game back when it first launched so it probably attracted the meme game audience.

I got the impression that it just sold well on word of mouth. Also seems a bit on the complicated and expensive side to fall into that category.

Satisfactory should be one of the best selling games on EGS, among with World War Z, Borderlands 3 and Metro Exodus.

The fact that the Steam version sold about 1/3 of the EGS sales in 1 month with a 10% sale after having been only on EGS for 13 months with multiple 10% sales and coupons dragging the price even more, is mighty impressive for Steam imo.

I hope that HZD regional pricing is intentional. Not pulling the trigger just yet, but launch is a day after my bd, so it will be the perfect time to pull the trigger.

I wouldn’t worry about that too much. There are giant Minecraft mod packs that are significantly more complicated than Satisfactory and are insanely popular with that audience. Teens love this type of stuff.

I agree with you there. Just intially skeptic of the numbers, but the price and the several mega sales and coupons make the number make much more sense now that it's been explained. With all those advantages, it really isn't that impressive for one of the most high profile games.

People doubt Sony is going to release more games on PC? Heh, just look at how well HZD is doing despite being overpriced in a good number of regions.

Well that discount on C&C got me. With that and Monster Train, I cleared the hurdle to buy something this sale. Used the coupon and now I'm done.

Not a bad use for my $14ish dollars in steam credit

I really dislike this narrative of wanting to justify the increase in prices because the budgets have gone through the roof, as if were our responsibility to keep up with company spending. Not to mention how AAA companies treat their employees like shit and that they already have a shit ton of cash via microtransactions.

For me it is like asking a higher price for a movie ticket because it had a larger budget or it is ‘pushing’ the medium.

Before August 7th? Edit: Nevermind, August 7th is the first Friday of August.

This Kingdom classic game is kicking my ass. It's neat but it doesn't seem like it allows for different strategies tho, which is a shame. Maybe the sequels are a bit more developed.
