First thing I'm doing when I finally play DQXI is just muting all the bgm audio and playing my own music over it or listening to podcasts/youtube videos on the side. I usually never do that for games, but I don't feel bad doing it over a crusty old shitty composer's bad music.

At best it will be a paid upgrade (like with world of final fantasy) and I still have my doubts.
Even though I put in 220 hours on DQXI on Steam, I kept installed for over a year after finishing it in the hope that it gets the S upgrades later on. I gave up on that idea and deleted the game a couple of months ago, but I'm not really mad about reinstalling since that means the upgrades are coming to Steam too! Also fantastic news for Xbox, as they're getting one of the greatest JRPGs of all time on an ecosystem that severely lacks them!

I never expected SE to put so much resource on the new Balan studio. I thought it's gonna be another Tokyo RPG Factory.
once again it looks like a huge amount of stuff has happened off screen between halo 5 and the new one =/
Halo screams "old game" from every single pixel. Not just technically, but the whole imaginary, world and enemies feel obsolete as heck to me in 2020. It might be just me though.
You can play it at 120hz right now already.
A bit late but Halo Infinite looks flat visually....

This is probably the worst year in gaming PERIOD, why can't these game companies take a break for a year and not make embarrasing/awful "conferences", next gen launches are fucked with covid19 still a problem, why can't game companies just pause for a while, launch games look embarrassing and I can't game launches in 2021 when shit is still fucked.
Launch games were planned and in development way before COVID. So it would have been bad regardless.
