I decided to give The Messenger a shot now that it's leaving GP, and I'm really into it. I gotta say, the smooth framerate/movement makes some of the 2d games I've tried in this demofest look real bad.
meanwhile i wait for 20th july to come on my calendar and tell me where i'll study next, i'm probably gonna do a project
i wanna do some smash ish render, buuut i can't model so i've got an idea of putting together models, i wanna just hear the thoughts if this combo of models looks alright and presentable

I hope Yukes will make a good game out of this since they don't have to rush it for a yearly release.
I am also curious, it looks interesting, but I wonder about its depth and gameplay loop.

Watching some Tales of Arise previews... Like SQEX, I think Bamco needs to port every Tales of game to PC asap.

The deal was likely signed before any games released. Epic just offered a big ol' bag of money for them and whoever makes those decisions accepted it.
Given KH was quickly discounted and bundled with Disney+ for the longest time, I guess they were trying their hardest to make it work.
You don't do that for new games that people are going to buy.

Considering they lowered the price on launch day I wouldn't be so sure. (cue to sales devaluate games and all that).
That said I suspec the 3 deals (KH collection, FFVII-R and NEO TWEWY) were made at the same time.
But paying exclusivity money for a game that has already had 2 moneyhats and it will launch at full price nearly 2 years after it's original release sounds like a bad idea.
Well I finished Tales of Berseria. It was a fun ride with a bittersweet ending. Also got it from Green Man for like $6 which is definitely a bargain since I put a little over 70 hours into it.
In Epic v. Apple lawsuit, there was implication that Epic has/is moved to doing multi-game deals, with each game sharing collateral, so Epic has chance of actually making money. Could be one of those.

Regardless, I've given up on FFVIIR on PC. I will just buy it on PS5.

In the sense of the deal securing KH+FF7+NEO is pretty much securing Nomura's line-up which, if you ask me, I don't truly understand why target such an specific creator, maybe due to his followers?

I couldn't see anything about a game. However there was a game released back in 2015, still available on Steam.
