I don't see the problem with FF7 remake being on EGS, it will be on mobile too

What do you mean, "wrong game"? :fearful-face:
Why would they remake the same game twice at the same time? :money-mouth-face:
Also this is going to be a gacha with bikini Barret, won't it?

Please remind me again why I'm supposed to buy these games instead of pirating them? To support SE? I mean, while should I support a company that threads it's customers like shit over and over again? :thinking-face:
You are not supposed to even pirate KH, just ignore it, do a favor to yourself, be a better person

This is clearly a joke :cat-heart-blob:

You're not supposed to pirate it, just ignore it until it's available to conditions and price you find acceptable and in the meantime spend the time and money on games from devs that do deserve the support.

It would have to be something that I really want to even bother pirating a game these days. I'm old and cranky and use the little patience I have left to deal with the "legit" bugs without taking cracks into account :p

But I'm kind of curious of how FVIIR will do. KH appears to have sold a lot less than what they were hoping, and discussions about it completely died. But it's how hard to guess how much of that was because of Epic or because of the batshit insane pricing, and that's before the also shitty regional "conversions".

I genuinely wouldn't have had any issues with epic if they had never resorted to exclusive BS, I'm not the kind of person who would have minded having games on different stores. But I felt so betrayed by this tactic because I always considered PC to be free from this BS, this just went outside my choices. I refuse to install that launcher no matter how tempting it gets or how many games they push at my throat.
I used to feel sad at the start but it doesn't faze me anymore.

Fanatical giving the people what they want:

The Bento bundles have generally been very good and this one doesn't disappoint either.
Legit worth it for Tokyo Xanadu eX+ alone, 50-80 hour Falcom action goodness that has my name in the credits :evilblob:

Will pick up for Spirit Hunter. White Day and Synergia also look interesting.

Works with the pc wireless adapter as well. I can switch between android and pc seamlessly. Good shit.
Might be the excuse that I need to get a custom Xbox controller lol

Quick, someone tell me if this key is region locked

[HIDEREPLYTHANKS]Checks ERA thread on EGS.[/HIDEREPLYTHANKS][HIDEREPLYTHANKS] Oh, same bullshit still happening I see :face-with-tears-of-joy:

Gonna go on a minor rant here.

I lived abroad for the past few years, and exclusively used my new bank account and debit card. I was interested in Metro when it launched on EGS and went to the checkout page - and really - I'm being charged payment processing fees? What a big fuck you. I guess that's what happens when your cut is so damn low. Nice market for people not living in countries like the US.

Additionally, I have a cousin with minor cerebral palsy where he no longer has to mess around with third party software in reconfigging controls and can even load other peoples configs because of Steam Input. Steam Input is great for accessibility options.[/HIDEREPLYTHANKS]

Fantastic from the Sable devs, they fixed the really annoying camera settings, lack of mouse window lock and added 60FPS in a few days?
Damn, not every game, let alone demo get all of that this fast.

Hugely reassuring, I was really disappointed in the demo with so many problems, it just made me instantly sick. Now if they can fix the nasty aliasing and the truly terrible pop-in, I'm totally gonna play it.

Square Enix confirmed this would have a gacha for better weapons. Which is annoying since I was looking forward to a straightforward remake I can play in bed, along with all the other JRPGs on my phone.

Regarding games where you play as fire fighters, I remember playing an old Japanese SNES rom back in the day that was EXCELLENT!

Fire spread dynamically through the levels, you had to choose your equipment (and you couldn't carry much) and you choose your own path through the levels.

I lost the rom, and spent years trying to find it, since it had only been called "Fire Fighting".

It was not "The Firemen" which was a much more arcadey experience and I couldn't find anymore SNES fire fighting games....

A few years back I tried again to find it, but the title "Fire Fighting" gave me nothing.

But finally, I found it!

It was called "Ignition Factor" and it was every bit as glorious and challenging as I remembered! 😀

Have you ever played Rosco McQueen on the PS1?
That's the only fire fighter game that matters.

Nice, I played this when I was looking for fireman themed games.

Speaking of, wasn't there a thread on obscure games? I couldn't find it.

so ... Circle of the Moon, Aria of Sorrow, and Harmony of Dissonance

that's a bit of a ... small collection :p

They should have called it Legacy 2 which included these + SotN, the N64 game and those couple good DS ones.

That would have been a great way to end it.

Still tho this will be a great 15-20$ pick up :)

Forgotten games! Drop by, why don't ya!

Speaking of forgotten games, there's one in particular that I can't seem to recall. I remembered bits of the opening a few days ago. It's an old retro (horror?) 2d side scrolling shooter (either a late 80's or early 90's game) that is very dark and gory. I think the game opens up with a bunch of dead people hanging from a rope and flies buzzing around the dead bodies. Not sure if it's a SEGA game or one those games that was part of the Neo Geo collection.

Halo 3 is a lot more fun when the game's not on legendary or whatever the third difficulty level is. It's fun when you can dance around enemies, or, kinda dance with how stodgy movement is. It's not fun when all enemy damage is so high and your damage is so low that you'll die if you try to play with any kind of gusto.
