There used to be an old Gangsters game that i liked where you would spend the first half of it planning the weekly activities like which places to hit up for protection money etc and then the second half would play out what you have planned in a isometric city map. It was good. Organised crime i think it was sub-tagged.

i had an idea to make the "no lurker" restriction have a time bracket ... kinda like what volvo did with the Deck reservations ... something like "you need to have posted at least X times between X days/weeks/months ago, and a week ago" ... that kind of thing
should hopefully prevent people just spamming the posts randomly to get above the threshold

Either you misclick or an Update is going to be applied, but then it should automatically shut off. A friend of mine said that his PC never shuts off via Windows and just restarts. He couldn't solve that problem and researched like crazy. Dunno, I think it might just be a BIOS thing.
I had it happen multiple times to me that my PC rebooted when i brushed me teeth for bedtime, thinking "did i click the wrong button?"
I've heard that their current monetization model has been buying the rights to port the game from the publishers and later recoup that cost using sold copies.
This model makes publishers be able to ask as much money as they want, which can make it very risky (or impossible) if the publishers ask for a lot of money. This is what has happened with the appearance of steam deck: the publishers expects a lot of Linux copies sold using the proton port, why bother licensing a port at all?
I wish Valve was more proactive enticing developers to get native Linux versions working, like Stadia. Hopefully this happens after Steam Deck has proven successful as the next step to remove Windows from the gamer equation.

It didn't have the icon / orange dot that indicates an update. It kinda freaked me out cause it logged me out of Steam after that.
