Looks like the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster are actually going to be the definitive version of the classic Final Fantasy games soon due to how easily they appear to be moddable.

Modders have already found ways to replace Sprites and Assets with the ones from other versions of these games (such as the PSP ones), fixed the issues like the tearing, added fast forward functions, replaced fonts.

All that'll soon be needed is a sort of mod launcher that allows to hack yourself together your favorite version of theses games at startup with ease.

Some of the comments i've read regarding Encodya in the bundle not having a Steam key are a little fanatical. Many have been demanding Steam Key Only Bundles which is probably where the confusion came from. Especially as some comments i've read haven't been exactly clear probably due to english not being their native language.

PC has emerged as something of a behemoth market with most major Japanese publishers targeting it for their multiplatform games. Capcom is also aware of the lucrative opportunities in the PC gaming market and continues to support it with their games with a multiplatform release strategy.

In their latest investors’ Q/A session, Capcom was asked if the demand for their games on PC was exceeding consoles. “While demand for PC versions of games did not exceed that for console versions in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2021, we feel that the gap between the two is shrinking, ” replied Capcom.

New historical lowest price. It's just an extra 5% off from previous recorded sales discount

Ok, seems like a bilibili publisher sale

Reason: Added bilibili publisher sale url

Not biased at all.

Just obvious you've never played Farming Simulator.

It's okay, we all have blind spots. :p

In all seriousness, I can never decide between Farm Sim, Crusader Kings or RimWorld for my personal GOAT.

Reminds of my never-ending internal debate over GOAT...Slayer Reign in Blood, S.O.D. Speak English or Die, and Exodus Bonded By Blood.

Just depends on which day you ask me.

Today it's S.O.D.

so my second and final today's batch is mostly artsy things :dualbladesblob: (yeah lot of it is Annapurna showcase :P)

Artsy game updates/reveals:

Excited for Back 4 Blood, played in the "Alpha" in December.
Everyone saying it's Left 4 Dead 3 is going to be disappointed likely, but it was very fun from when I played it.

Sad that they're likely going to fuck up the game due to the poor monetization model they're doing.

Youre saying it's not just Not-Left4Dead? Marketing has done it no favours then

Hmmm.... It looks like there won't be any Steam key for ENCODYA.

I don't understand how it went from:
  • a request to have an option between Steam and GOG, i.e. to remove the GOG exclusivity,
to:
  • a request to have no other option than Steam, i.e. to enforce the Steam exclusivity.
Humble probably pays less for GOG keys than for Steam keys (or buys less because less people will get the GOG key game). The devs probably asked for more money or better terms and Humble is like "nah".

ew, hope not
I hope I'm wrong. The single player portion would be a huge success on Steam. The complete packmage (mp+sp) makes more sense to me.
I suspect a PC version is a long while away as the game just had its DC.

Tetris for me, closely followed by Chrono Trigger

Which version(s) of Tetris is/are your favs? For me it's Tetris DX on GBC! I have not played Tetris Effect yet, excited for that one.

And favorite games overall.. hmm.. here's a quick list in no particular order: Warframe, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, aforementioned Tetris DX, Deadly Premonition, Resident Evil 4 and... 7?, Jedi Knight + Mysteries of the Sith, StarCraft + Brood War, various Zeldas (BOTW, Wind Waker, etc), Mario Kart 8, Eternal Darkness, Stardew Valley, Diablo 2 and 3, Path of Exile, GRIS.... I know I'm missing some... oh SUBNAUTICA! Hades!

Stand out ones are the C64 version (first time I ever played it), the GB version (so much eyestrain on that small green screen) and most recently Tetris Effect (such great music and visuals, would love to give it a go in VR).

But yeah, think the GB version edges it out for me, so many hours spent on that, so many batteries bought for it.

I remember reading a Swedish videogame magazine review on God Hand that made it sound like it was a completely terrible failure of a game.

Imagine my surprise a few years later when everyone was praising God Hand to the skies as an underrated gem. I was like: Wut?

ok I had to google where I keep seeing these cute penguins from. Show called Penguindrum apparently.
Nice, "let's see if I can stream it?" Nope, no service in the UK at all has it :(
Ok how about disc? "Yep, but it's going to cost you!"

FFS I forget how expensive anime can be when you venture outside Netflix and Crunchyroll/Funimation

Ah I'm always happy to see Glasgow on film :D

That's not Deus Ex

I want names. As I've said there are many titles Sony could potentially bring to PC.
It could consist of multiplayer spin offs for all we know.

All these replies to me and no one linked the unbiased goat :birbangry:

The penguins are cute, but the rest of the show is mindfucky - for lack of a better word.

Just pirate it, you tried to go legit and there's no reasonable alternative
