Forspoken was announced a long time ago as Steam/WinStore/EGS, but everytime a big publishers makes a deal with Epic people here assume their next big games are also going that way :upside-down-face:

on the bright side, J&J does still provide protection for further complications so it should be easier to get through it.
Same quality protection as protection from getting covid in the first place, the one and only purpose of those vaccines.

At this rate covid vaccines might be bigger scam than crypto mining and I never thought anything could top that.

Am I supposed to be grateful for this in 2021? L-O-L

The controller I've been using extensively for the last 15 years finally broke. I'm kinda sad, so many memories :blobclosecry::blobclosecry:
Heh.

Reminds me of this pair of Adidas running shoes I bought like a million years ago. When I refreshed them with a new pair (like I typically do every year or two), these retired as my go-to walking shoes.

I used them for years after that. Traveled the globe with them. Climbed the Eiffel Tower, descended into the Grand Canyon, across the cooled lava fields of Iceland, through the jungle ruins & Buddhist temples in Cambodia, et.c. etc.

Finally one day the sole one of them completely tore off, retiring them for good. It was such a sad day. We'd been through so much together. I almost felt like burying them out back and playing Taps.

So, anyone know if 2042 is any good? Already decided to pass on CoD given that Halo is out in a month.

But in regards to the more large-scale FPS, does it look like I'm better just sticking with Hell Let Loose and Squad this year too?
I was thoroughly underwhelmed by the beta, but my only BF experience previously was BFV and BF1. A lot of die hard BF fans didn't like it either. It's still large-scale but it borrows a lot from CoD. They have already changed a bunch from the beta but who knows. If you want something more tactical I think you're better off sticking with HLL and Squad

You know what is sad part? There are currently modders working on improving GTA IV but by the time they will be done with it Take2 will probably shut them down so they can release their GTA IV Remaster. For example this is how they are remastering characters

Finished up Psychonauts 2.

What a brilliant game

Really can't remember the last time I played a 3D platformer that was so good and so story/character driven. The writing was 5 stars. They really don't make games like this anymore. The fucking cooking recipe shit had me rolling on the floor. The difficulty in the game was just right.

I don't know what Schafer and his crew are doing next but if I am Phil I give them all the $$$ to make another game like this. Be it another entry or new Banjo or fucking wtvr.

Skateboarding shoes can be super comfortable. I'm almost in a similar position with one pair I have, but I'm trying not to think about the day it has to go.

I used to be an amateur skateboarder during my teen years and have been wearing skateboarding shoes ever since. They tend to be comfortable, as you said, and will also last a very long time and go through all sorts of beatings.

A restoration and remaster of a game lost to time for over 25 years, American Hero is an outrageous and unforgettable FMV game that lets you play as the star in an over-the-top 1990s Hollywood action movie. Originally designed for the Atari Jaguar CD as a “playable movie” with a more fluid presentation than the FMV games of its time.

I'm looking at both your avatar and your tag and CAN YOU NOT DO SOMETHING TO HELP FUNKTIONJCB :wd_heart:
Oh, don't worry. I'm reasonably fine. ;)

And, my wife just got her test results, and it came back negative, so at least it doesn't seem like I "passed it" to anyone else, which was my main concern. :)

But, it really is quite something. A guy basically barely goes out, it's home->work->home only, mask at all times (inside, and outside any locations), vaccine, and still I ended up infected.
Oh well, 9 more days stuck in a small portion of the house, in order to avoid contact with the wife and cat. :expressionless-face:

Developing for Steam Deck without a Dev-Kit

We’ve just updated partner site documentation with a new article, “How to Develop for Steam Deck without a Dev-Kit”. You might notice that this sounds very similar to a talk happening at tomorrow’s Steamworks Virtual Conference. You’re not wrong - this article is basically the contents of tomorrow’s talk by the same name. Feel free to look it over and come to tomorrow’s session with your questions ready, or just watch the session tomorrow if you prefer listening to reading.

Along with these docs, we have released the SteamOS Devkit Client and SteamOS Devkit Service applications on Steam. These free tools allow you to connect your dev PC to another PC running Linux, to push builds, grab traces, and debug your games in a Linux environment (perfect for developing for Steam Deck). If you already have a dev-kit you no longer need to reach out to us for additional keys, just download it directly.

Similarly, if you’re testing Steam Deck compatibility with your own hardware (as per the new article above), you can just download the Devkit Client app to your dev PC, and the Devkit Service app to your Linux box. Links to download these tools and instructions for use can be found here.

Check out the documentation, and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Help. I finished my assignments for now and was looking forward to some gaming time tonight but I can't decide what to play next. I just finished Blasphemous and basically everything I consider makes me go "well it's not gonna be as good as Blasphemous..." lmao

Maybe I just just do a Dark Souls replay...

Do I stand to gain anything with Skyrim's new update if I already own Special Edition or whatever?

Replaying SteamWorld Dig. Still a lot of fun.

A simple hexedit fix, and perfect ultrawide support. Actually both games have really good UW support once you patch it in. I think I prefer the first game here, since the UI is in the middle.

Yeah, I launched GTA4 but could not load the save because the service is down. Sucks. I have just gained access to the third island.

Good opportunity for me to start playing Dreamscaper though. Start completely new as I have forgotten most of the mechanics already. Very beautiful game, both in terms of visual and music. Love it.
