Aquaplus still hasn't bothered uploading the official trailer or opening to Youtube but here's the Gematsu article anyway.
In other news, I'd like to remind everyone that the whole trilogy is currently half off on Steam. Start with Prelude to Fallen.
Highly recommended to all Trails fans and other people of good taste.

Best thing about Prelude to the Fallen is that it doesn't have child porn scenes the original PC game had.

I just saw someone argue that "these types of games don't sell on PC anyway".
When the fact is that several JRPG franchises have sold extremely well on Steam.

Of course, usually those are franchises managed by people who seem to have a bare minimum understanding of how to handle their releases so that they actually have a chance at success.
In a way it's kind of amazing how consistently bad Square Enix is at managing their brands, particularly on PC.
I am incredible curious about FF7R and FF 16 Steam releases. I predict they will not top the JRPG Steam Charts. Which is pretty wild to think about. Freaking Final Fantasy playing second fiddle to things like Tales of or Monster Hunter Stories (or whatever other JRPGs will lead the charts at the time).

I was sure there was someone looking for Social Deduction games like Werewolf/Mafia for example Gnosia.
This just popped into my recommends and it looks like a short Social Deduction style game that might border on a VN with multiple paths.

Can I play Gears Tactics without having ever played any gears game? Will I get the story, character motivations, world/lore, etc?
Does it spoil in any way the other games in the series? I was hopping for a steam release so I could finally find out why people seem to love it so much.

So much stuff on my wishlist with good sales and as always I can't afford shit.
You guys reckon that Mass Effect LE might go lower during the winter sale? Unlikely, right?

A sale recommendation for puzzle game lovers:

Filament is a great puzzle game with a good story if you're willing to engage with it (you have to unlock and read journal entries). It's all string-and-peg puzzles with each area of the ship having a unique set of rules. The difficulty starts out easy enough but ends in a brutal finale.

There's a certain intuition solving these puzzles I don't often feel in other puzzle games. I think some people see it as "trial and error," but I came to understand it as familiarizing myself with the space. It can be hard to see what is possible in the puzzle until you wrap a few strings and see how the possibilities change with different configurations. Really enjoyed my nearly 50 hours with this game.

I know I've asked this before, but is the Forza Horizon 4 Steam version good? I remember reading it was glitchy at launch but it's on sale right now and I'm kinda tempted.
If you can afford it buy the Ultimate version, it will ease the need for grinding (you'll get 2X the rewards for every event)

I think Wildermyth deserves recognition in this category this year.

Procedural storytelling and Legacy characters are fresh as hell.
Technically speaking Massive Chalice was the first game, that I know of at least, that did the whole procedural legacy thing, with traits passing from parents to children.
I'm not saying Wildermyth's implementation isn't as good or even better but it's not the first one.

It's not.
It's not? Huh, must have thought about another game, maybe Football Manager which is also doing really well.

Anyways, FarmSim22 is doing incredible well. Constantly over 50k ccu. Giants must be really happy since they self-published it.

FS 19 on there. You can pick that one up pretty cheap if GP isn't your thing.
