I'm talking about just regular pepper. Peppar? You know so old that wars have probably been fought for it.

The bottle looks bigger than usually seen in supermarkets, but this was 10 euros ? :face-with-cold-sweat:

Li Kao Wok Yeah bought from Casino for 9.99 I think. I don't mind having a big one, will use it on everything haha!
This explains it.
Casino is not the cheapest supermarket, and I suppose you went to an urban one, not a 'real' supermarket ? Then yeah, prepare to be skinned alive.

Ah I realize now that the French call black pepper just pepper :)

I guess it's the same in Italy as well? Gosh I can't remember anymore 😱

Btw if possible next time get the one in whole corns and use a grinder (or get the one with a grinder), because it's 1000% tastier

Made a kanellängd tonight, I should have cooked it just 2 or so minutes longer. One of my favourite things to make.

Hmm cannot post a pic, but it is essentially a cinnamon roll loaf.

EDIT: Threw it into Imgur, is there a way to load directly from your phone? I could not figure it out :cryblob:

I had always wanted to try Vegemite, and so for a present, my mother-in-law purchased a small container for me. I have to say that I absolutely love the taste of it. I was not sure what to think of it at first, but the absolutely saltiness is so satisfying with bread and some sort of beverage (coffee usually :coffee-blob: ).

I am not sure what else to have it with. I have seen folks make anything from desserts to chicken wings with it, but definitely glad I finally had the opportunity to have some!

Oh hell yeah time to take my coffee game to the next level again. I bought a coffee bean grinder! A cheap one from china haha, it's hand cranked so lets see how long I will bother with it.

Right now I only could buy some cheap beans so coffee taste won't be that much better but once I start exploring more fancy beans I am eager to see the difference!

So this thread kind of got its start when I was having problems with my rice cooker way back! But I have finally bought a new one! Its so nice! All black and sexy.

Now! What's the best way to take care of a rice cooker? Like cleaning and such?

Is there a special way to clean rice cookers? :sweaty-blob:
I just clean the rice cooker pot and maybe the bits where the steam comes through with a little bit of water. And that is all that I do.

I don't even own a rice cooker. Just cook my rice in a regular pot or kettle or whatever it's called.

I don’t even have a kitchen, so I pretty much have to have a rice cooker, it works great to steam stuff which I use it for a lot. But I have like a year supply of rice so time I started to eat some of it!

My new favorite light meal

Salad mix
Plantgo Beans and Olive oil salad (store bought mix with Kidney/Soy beans, chickpea, spice, herbs, garlic, paprika)
garlic croutons
A vegetarian sausage or some ham

Jesus H. Christ, I’m waking up and at first glance I thought the croutons were banana slices.

I would salt to taste after, but I usually use black pepper and hot sauce instead.

My wife has used a small amount of coarse salt, toasted sesame seeds, and black pepper with avocado slices and that is pretty tasty, but she can be serious about fried eggs. I usually get lazy and quickly scramble them, throw on some hot sauce and cheese in a tortilla.

I seem to remember we do it before. We are not big on fried eggs. Which is dumb, because everytime we do fried eggs we remark how we should do them more often :shrugblob:

First attempt at making a kransekake

Had company arrive while they were coming out and had to very quickly pipe the icing, so super sloppy icing haha. Also missing the bottom most rings. My daughter helped me too as much as an 18 month old can help haha.

A few Christmas cookies we’ve done this year. My wife also did her Chocolate Chip, and we did Snowballs so far.
This year I want to do a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie, as well as a Kahlua Cocoa Espresso Crinkle.
