Thanks for the new thread, Mor!

Still exhausted by work on the weekdays, but I managed to put a few hours into Shipbreaker so my stamina is adjusting to the relatively new life. Hopefully I can play games in longer session soon. :dmcblob:

Thanks for the thread Mor !

Also, games journalists spending more time on Twitter defending their lack of coverage of indie games than they spend on covering fucking indie games. The gist of it seems to be "if we can't invest the time to write paragraphs about it, it's not worth mentioning the game at all" which is obviously super bunk since any article about a showcase does exactly that, but they had the work done for them first.

And like, yea journalism is fucking hard. It pays bad and doing it for-profit is one of the worst ways to do anything ever. But just accept that you aren't doing something that could be done and say "sure" instead of trying to justify it by saying it's not worth doing.

Happy new thread! Thank you for the thread Mor :cat-heart-blob:

There are quite a few games I am interested in this month, but I really should hold off until the summer sale. In addition to the other titles listed, these others I might check out:

I am a sucker for fishing in any game, so this looks up my alley

Another game in the same spirit as Vampire Survivors, might be coming this month

Thanks for the thread Mor! Great work as always!

Ah, June at last! Time for not-E3! :blobgamer: Looking forward to seeing the big hitter (and not so big hitter) lineup for the rest of 2022.

As for game pickups, I'm down for The Quarry, Souldiers (shit looks amazing!), and Grindstone on Steam... Disgaea 6 is a maybe depending on how they price it, I don't trust NISA much. Somnium Files 2 is a PS4 pickup by default, as I need that CE haha.

Kicking the tires on Corpse Factory, as well. It's the rainy season over here where I live, and a creepy Death Note-ish VN wouldnt go amiss. Thanks for the rec, Kvik! :blobevening:

Excellent thread as always Mor !

I'm still kinda feeling like I should play that Chaos Gate Daemonhunters 40K XCOM game.

Though I have been playing a lot of the Marvel Snap android beta recently. Still fun, but the progression system is starting to rear its ugly head. Mobile games!

Review for Souldiers by Metro. 7/10 although they do tend to err more towards edge marking and do use the full range of 1 to 10.

tl;dr good class system and they do feel unique, 2d presentation can work against it and add to the difficulty, some technical difficulties but appears to be console only, good story, beautiful to look at.

I think it is still one I will give a try, but the souls like nature is pushing me away a little. Although it does have difficulty options.
