hard to tell when so much of it can be explained as that this is a real bloody niche release franklyFunny enough my friend from GameStop told me that they are only going to have enough copies for pre-orders and Bandai did a review embargo until the day of release.... I am guessing that there may be some disappointment for this game?
I saw people reporting that they had to uninstall their codec packs to get it to pass the cinematic.Sad to say that Digimon Survive crashes on Steam Deck too but once you pass that cinematic, it runs flawlessly, so hopefully BN will push an update.
oh, I remember playing the demo back in the day. coolAnyone remember Re-Volt? Not played it in 20+ years or so
There's a 2nd cinematic a bit after which also has the same problem, but after that it has been smooth sailing other a few minor issues:Sad to say that Digimon Survive crashes on Steam Deck too but once you pass that cinematic, it runs flawlessly, so hopefully BN will push an update.
I have had these speakers from creative for at least 7 years and they sound very well compared to the small footprint they have: GigaWorks T40 Series IIRazer doesn't make good products, but the issue is that the other companies aren't exactly better.
I don't trust Logitech or Corsair or whatever else any better than Razer for any device...
It basically prevents the videos from playing at all, so no freeze, lol.Looks like there is another way around the freezing at the first cutscene, this will fix it for both SteamDeck and Windows it seems
C:\Digimon Survive\DigimonSurvive_Data\Plugins\x86_64 remove file "AVPROVideo" then open the game and game will work again
I DM'd you.fuck fuck fuck fuck, I got moved up to (July - September ) time frame for steam deck and I’m 200€ short! I had planned out my saving plan but now don’t know what the fuck to do.
edit, no wait almost 300 short.
how can such good news that they improved production be worst possible news for me.
on deck?I saw people reporting that they had to uninstall their codec packs to get it to pass the cinematic.
Sorry, I should have clarified and said that it was on Windows PC. For the Deck the solution may be deleting the videos as posted earlieron deck?
Some have reported that there's an option in the k-lite codec pack that fixes the issue.I saw people reporting that they had to uninstall their codec packs to get it to pass the cinematic.
ok i found exactly what is needed to fix the freeze\crash on cutscene IF you have k-lite installed. you DO NOT have to uninstall it. simply open the tweak tool for klite(C:\Program Files (x86)\K-Lite Codec Pack\Tools\CodecTweakTool.exe) and change 1 setting
Under Codec and Filter Management, goto "Preferred Splitters", then change the 64bit .MP4 to "Use Merit". apply and close. play.
This is terrible.
Looks like Steam and other gaming services were just blocked in Indonesia due to new government regulations.
From reading up on the topic, it looks like it is Valve's fault because they didn't register in the country. Blizzard registered and Battle.net still works. This is terrible.
Could be a deliberate choice by Valve to wait on this. From reading up on the topic, it looks like it is Valve's fault because they didn't register in the country. Blizzard registered and Battle.net still works.
Usability wise, so far looks like it's only a simple dns blocking. Getting around it it's pretty easy and I just bought something to test and I can still pay using "DANA" which is a local payment that steam added recently.Looks like Steam and other gaming services were just blocked in Indonesia due to new government regulations.
The global rise of fascism is honestly real scary. Indonesia is far away from me, but I can imagine a time in the future where this could happen anywhere.

I wish I still had my Logitech G9X.Late to the hardware discussion but I got nothing but good to say about Logitech personally.
G502 is a legendary mouse, sturdy, long lasting and you can make it heavy or light with the included weights. Up to 25k dpi, 11 buttons, and it doesn't break the bank at just $40.
My Logitech G Pro mechanical keyboard is comfy and clicky. 3 years in, no stuck keys, no ghosting, and the keyboard lighting is still strong for easy visibility.
Speakers? Can't beat the Logitech Z623 in their price range. THX certified, loud as fuck, with a punchy subwoofer, and durable construction.
Oh, and Logitech's software is actually useful and not annoying.

I love logitech mice and never had a bad one. I used to have Logitech surround speakers which were also great and only got replaced because I needed something with more inputs.Late to the hardware discussion but I got nothing but good to say about Logitech personally.

I'm pretty sure every Logitech mice I bought (plus any I received under warranty) developed double clicking issues but stuck with them due to how quick and lenient their warranty process is. That had to be nearly 10 mice over a ~20 year period. The latest were two G305 mice, one was likely double clicking out of the box but I didn't fully notice and its replacement did the same about a year later. I'm giving optical switches a try this time around.Late to the hardware discussion but I got nothing but good to say about Logitech personally.

I switch pretty often between a trackball (MX Ergo) and a vertical mouse. The MX vertical is awesome! If you all need a new mouse. get a vertical mouse. like seriously.
rsi in the wrist sucks, prevent that from ever happening to you.
I use the MX Vertical, seems like its built like a brick and lasts 3 months per charge.
I feel like the game is gonna keep selling decently especially once actual reviews get out and word of mouth gets around, because honestly it's pretty dang great.
Guess Digimon will Survive another day after all
With Bamco doing 0 marketing I didn't think it would reach so many players
