Sorry again that I hadn't seen this yet and thanks for asking me on Discord too!

For folks that might be curious, it's nothing serious. Jax has an appointment to get neutered tomorrow morning but with me being someone that doesn't drive and that kind of lives in the middle of nowhere I can only get a ride after a certain time of the day. So the best call was to drop him off at the vet tonight and let them keep him overnight so that they can do the procedure first thing tomorrow.

He should be back home sometime tomorrow afternoon.

I didn't expect to finish Titanfall 2 in one stream yesterday so uhh.. let's call an audible and stick with some more nostalgia. We're going to try playing through the Max Payne series. I didn't realize it had been 8 years since I last played any of them and it's about time I correct that!

Today is my first stream since reaching affiliate status and I cannot thank everyone enough for helping me get there. It really means a lot. While the opportunity to receive stuff like subs and bits is nice, the biggest thing for me is that I can now do proper charity streams and I'm really excited to start doing some in the near future.

In the meantime however, we're starting our Max Payne 3 playthrough today!

Going to be jumping into some more Max Payne 3 in about 10 minutes! Chances are we'll finish it up today so we'll probably jump into something else to finish off the stream, no clue exactly what yet but I have a couple ideas.



I also have a few ideas I want to share regarding the co-op thread that I'll post later tonight so keep an eye out for that as well.

So for starters, what I was thinking about doing with the thread is again trying to focus more on getting folks together for the occasional co-op event. That first year we held our events was a great time and something I miss dearly. The worry now, however, is that it might get drowned out a little with how often this thread is updated with only my streams and updates about game releases once a month. I'm hoping to find a solution for that as well.

Now speaking of the stream, I mentioned a while ago that I'd like to maybe take one or two streams per month and spend a couple hours, or the entirety of a stream, playing together. Like with our events I'd never ask anyone to use voice chat and no one should ever feel forced to attend but I think it would be a great time playing something like Jackbox or maybe some casual rounds in MultiVersus with you all, just to use a couple examples. Stuff like that should work great given the low barrier of entry. Like in Jackbox's case it would only require that I own it. Of course we could always try out other stuff as well if enough folks own a game.

Oh, I should also make clear that our events would be an entirely separate thing. We would probably do those on Saturdays when I'm not streaming.

And finally, I'm thinking about rewriting the OP a little and making a few other changes. We've been on the same banner for far too long and I think we could use a new splash of color at the very least. Things need some sprucing up in here!

The time has finally come! This is a game I've been looking forward to since it was announced and one I really wanted to experience with everyone. We're going to be starting Cult of the Lamb today!

After some hurdles trying to get the Twitch integration stuff set up I believe we should be good to go. I have a general idea of how it all works and I'm excited to see how much chaos it'll allow everyone to cause.

Back to the cult once more! I think the Twitch integration stuff is still mostly offline which has been a constant bummer for us. I worry that we'll finish the game before we get to try out any of the fate voting. I've seen it in action during other streams and it seems really neat.

I had another game in mind for today but due to it releasing at a weird time that would practically be at the end of the stream we're going to give something else a try instead. That something else is a return visit to Doom Eternal, or as I call it because I'm a weirdo, Dude A Turtle. I'm not sure we'll stick with it for the entire stream but it is one I would like to play through again so we'll see!

It's another bouncy Sunday! Going to start with some Hitman 3 today and then move to a little SD Gundam Battle Alliance afterwards. From there we'll see what sounds good, but like usual I have a few others in mind that we'll hopefully get to.

September update time! There's one that I'm really looking forward to this month and that's the 1.0 release of Grounded. I've mentioned plenty of times already that I'm not a big survival game fan but there's the occasional one that really grabs me and Grounded is one of those. I'm also a little excited that we're finally getting the next gen version of FIFA even if I'm not thrilled to pay $70 for it. And I'm curious to see how Temtem turns out with its 1.0 release.

And finally the news about the stream. The biggest news is that due to my birthday falling on a Sunday this year I want to do a special stream that day. So on September 25th I will be doing a charity stream for The Trevor Project. Twitch mentions that subs, bits and tips don't go toward the donation total but I'm going to do my best to keep track of any and all of that to make sure that it gets donated as well even if the goal is met. And given that I'm pretty much a nobody with a tiny channel I'll be setting the goal pretty low to start but I'll get some extra tiers set just in case.

The other bit of news is that I've started a Discord server for the channel that I plan to open up for everyone by the end of the week, though for those that have already subbed and would like to get in before that just let me know in this thread or with a message. I'm going to be giving all of you a special role.

In addition to that I have some emotes on the way that I'm excited to see how they turn out. Those will also be uploaded to the Discord server when they're finished. I won't spoil exactly what they are but needless to say they're cat themed.

Oh! Also for those that might not know, this co-op thread has a Discord server. It's been a little dead in there for a while but if folks would ever like an invite to that be sure to let me know.

Doing a Friday bounce around this time. I didn't want to start a new game and then have to wait until Tuesday to continue so we'll swap Friday and Sunday this week and Sunday will be the day we figure out our next playthrough. Going to be starting with some Hitman 3 again and it's looking like today might be a shooter heavy stream. I want to check out some recent DLC releases and those games both happen to be FPS.

At the end of Friday's stream we played about 30 minutes of Fuga: Melodies of Steel and while I'm still a little worried it won't be a great stream game we're going to give it a whole stream to see if it clicks for folks. Like I mentioned Friday it's one I'm going to play through either way and it'll be fun sharing that experience if it's one everyone enjoys.

We've got some more Fuga on the way! The more we play of this the more I suspect it'll make me cry at some point. It's so adorable but it's still a game that's basically about child soldiers fighting in WW2 and we've already had one slightly heartbreaking moment.

That ol' Sunday bounce returns. We're going to be checking out some recent releases starting with Tinykin and if we have some time we'll check out a couple slightly older titles I've been wanting to get back to.

Another thing I want to do is make some changes to the thread sometime tonight or tomorrow. It likely won't be anything big, probably just a slight rewrite of the OP and some banner changes but I do have a few ideas in mind so we'll see!

Time for a return to our usual streams. We're going to go with Prodeus as the next game we play through and use it as a nice lead in to the Fall/Halloween season. There's a bunch of horror or spooky games that I have planned for next month and I'm not sure we'll get through all of them, but we're certainly going to try! One is a game that I regret never finishing and should make for a perfect game to stream around Halloween. Let's just say it involves aliens.. or an alien, I suppose.

Also I don't believe I've thanked everyone on the forum yet and I really should have. Thank you so much to everyone that stopped by during the charity stream, it meant a lot. And for those that might have missed the end I can happily say we did reach our goal!

With Prodeus finished up it's time to start getting ready for the spooky season. The plan is to play spookier and spookier games as we inch closer to Halloween, starting with Pumpkin Jack this time!

There's roughly 20 games I have in mind to play through during October and while we most likely won't get through all of them, the aforementioned not so vague hint at a game featuring an alien will absolutely happen. I'm really excited to finally play through that.

Bioshock 2, The Darkness 2 and Evil Within 2. We were cursed by twos!

But the one I was worried about was The Darkness 2. There's a few sections in the game that take place in a psychiatric hospital and I can't remember how well it handles the subject exactly, but I'm pretty certain it was poorly. And we did see a brief glimpse of it during the 30 or so minutes we tried it out and.. yeah, not the worst I've seen but still not great.

However EW2 won the poll at the end of the stream so this coming week will be all EW2 and I couldn't be more excited to play it again. I love that game. Also had no idea it has a first person mode now and it seems really well implemented.

Evil Within 2 day is here! I can't believe it had been five years already since I last played EW2. We're going to be doing a NG+ playthrough so we can mostly stick to the main story and I'm not spending a bunch of time hunting for secrets and collectibles. Though for anyone that hasn't played the game or seen that side stuff it's worth doing if you pick the game up for yourselves.

I'll be updating the co-op thread later tonight as well so be sure to keep an eye on that if you're looking for some new co-op games and/or some news about our events.

October update time!

And if folks are interested how about we try for a co-op event on October 22nd? I figure something a little earlier in the day compared to our old events might work slightly better so let's go with a time around 2 or 3pm EST. That should put it at 7 (19:00) or 8 (20:00) for a lot of folks.. maybe. I didn't factor in when daylight savings happens for everyone.

Hey folks! Li Kao, Le Pertti and myself have been looking for a fourth to join us in Grounded. We usually play during my lunch break (noon EST) on Mondays or sometimes Thursdays. We're still sort of just starting out so you won't have missed much. We have been using voice chat but it's not required so don't feel pressured into it if you'd rather not. It's always a lot of fun and a chill time and folks are always welcome.

Also, don't forget that we have a co-op event coming up this Saturday everyone! If anyone has any games they'd like to try out just let me know otherwise we'll figure that all out the day of. There's some I have in mind but it'll depend on how many folks join in, like I'd love to do some bigger rounds of Jackbox for example. Wanted to give one more reminder for folks that we'll be doing a co-op event on Saturday and everyone is welcome to join whether you've played with us in the past or not, we always like seeing new folks.

It'll be starting at 2PM EST, or 7pm BST (19:00)/8pm CEST (20:00) for our European pals, and will probably go for at least 2 or 3 hours. So far we don't have a set game or games we'll be playing so don't be afraid to speak up if you have one in mind and we'll try to get everyone together to try it out.

Should be a fun time as always and I'm looking forward to hopefully making these a more regular thing again!
