Not much interesting in the quarterly reports as far as PC gaming goes. Koei-Tecmo's had some interesting slides I guess. Only 350k copies of DoA6 shipped (not even sold) across Xbox/PS4/PC.

Nioh 2 didn't list any platforms. Not even PS4 oddly enough.

that seems ... low (for DoA)

or does it? might be good for a fighting game?

It's way lower than DoA5. (580k in the same time-span of a month.)

Maybe people are tired of their DLC schemes or maybe it was the negative PR the game kept getting. Either way... oof.

That's probably pretty debatable. I loved Five, but Six fell quite flat for me. 😅 All the core mechanics are there and it's still quite fun but literally everything around that core package is just annoying/bad. DoA5 launched in a MUCH more feature complete and polished state.

Well SEGA said in theirs that they were planning on “strengthening IP developments on multiple platforms in all regions” which sounds promising for PC.

Granted Sega is already going pretty hard on PC support but I’m sure not complaining about even more PC releases.

No complaints here either. I am honestly sooooo over 3rd-party exclusive bs. Unless one of the "Big Three" is footing your development bill it's just ridiculous.

At this point, with all the streaming talks going on, I wonder for how long 1st party exclusivity will last in case streaming will be a success? MS already left software exclusivity behind, Sony offers PS Now on PC, only N doesn't show signs of changing.

Downunder.
That's why people need to keep buying Yakuza, or whatever else SEGA will bring to PC. Sakura Taisen shall have its rightful place among the stars, finally.

100% agreed. Release all games on all platforms.

Or at least on as many platforms as they can afford.

Ive said it before and ill say it again. If they keep bringing over their titles ill keep buyin em.

But can I pls pre order TSR and Puyo Puyo Champions already? TSR not having system specs or a pre order is raising some big red flags.

Played a bit of the free weekend for The Crew 2. Maybe I was spoiled by the detailed world of The Division 2., but it looks a lot worse than I remembered. In particular when conditions are dry during the day, it straight up looks like textures and geometry aren't loaded in properly. Just really, really flat and boxy. I went over some footage for the first game and that definitely looked a lot better overall. How odd. Disappointing too because I was looking to get into this, but I might as well boot up TC1 again.

Pausing DQXI and playing some other stuff.

Currently making my way through Ghost of a Tale. Game has lots of charme the world design is clearly inspired by Dark Souls interconnected world, the designs are pretty cute. Getting some Redwall (only watched the cartoon as a kid) vibes. Lots of quests have you walking between the same spots though and for some stuff you get jack shit for directions.

Anyway, currently in the Catacombs/Great Hall Anyone who made it through the game can tell me how far I am?

I felt the same thing with Watch Dogs 2 and Wildlands. Both games are really ugly in day time.

Do we need pregnant Norman Reedus on PC?

I thought MGSV was mediocre in everything but core gameplay (which is surprisingly strong for a series more known for idiotic anime plot and over the top cutscenes) and if Death Stranding is more of the same with Kojima aping Refn and Villeneuve visually, I'm not sure it's something that'll interest me.

That being said, more games is always better than less, so, hopefully it'll come to PC sooner or later.

i'm gonna say it's definitely coming .... might have to wait a few years (12 months if we're lucky, but i seriously doubt it) ... but it'll come

Beat'em-ups are more fun co-op, try to play with friends or family.
FYI, the Mystara collection has 2 games, but the 2nd is a 'rework' of the first. Still worth owning for historical precedence.
Trust me I know, I loved playing the Ninja Turtles, Simpsons, and X-Men brawlers in the arcade with my sister back in the day. They haven't been as much fun when I try them emulated, but I figured I would give this bundle a shot anyway.

I'm much more concerned (and convinced) it'll be a survivalish sort of game like Day Z than I am concerned any part presentation.

slowly making my way up the ascensions in Slay the Spire. Level 16 with Ironclad and Silent. Level 14 with Defect. The swingyness between runs is a little annoying. Some runs practically play themselves and some runs barely get by. maybe that's just the nature of the RNG though.

So after 70+ hrs of MHW in roughly a week, I think I'm ready to take a break. I've only really used one weapon type, the switch axe. So I'll probably try out other stuff. I'm just burnt out. This is hopefully the last game I'll be able to do this with, but I doubt it. Due to my divorce, and life situation currently, I have a ton of free time and not a lot of money.

I think I want to try and replay some classics from my top 10, as my birthday approaches. Haven't played some since I was a teen, and I'm almost at a point where I can say I wasn't a teenage ten years ago. So I want to reassess my list, especially with how many bangers have released the past few years that I hold dearly.

I dunno, my life is moving forward in a very positive way, and I loved certain games throughout my life and even during the peak of my depression, so I'm keen to see how I view them in a newer light as well.

Good to know things are going positive for you. I was at a similar point with some other games when I have my depression moments and it made me love them even more during replays (and games I liked as a kid I now no longer like as much because I got used to newer mechanics), but that's just me.

At least he looked like a mid-2000s douchebag with it. Gave him some character. Now he's just another white male player character/Rando hl2 npc... Oh Stanley..... We'll miss the real you.

What, from what has been released so far, leads you to believe that?
The 'gameplay footage' they've shown so far, the stated objectives of the MC (go to a place get stuff, return with it seems like opportune for risk/reward ambush gameplay), the size & relative emptiness of the game world (lots of room for lots of players). It'd be a pretty empty experience if you're hauling a ton of stuff from point to point with no human enemies between.

The logic of the game world seems to allow for pop-in and play. They really didn't show much in the way of actual enemy combat, just a sort of state where baddies swarm you and 'get' you.

I'm looking through my Steam library and I should have enough to keep me entertained for a long while. I'm ready for the money-crunch of graduating from college.

I'm a tad confused... Did something happen back on the other forum? I'm noticing that some people I thought got permabanned seem to be back.
